George's Bbq Chicken And Ribs

Used Uber Eats to order the food from George’s BBQ for pickup, I pressed reorder and instead of telling me the location was closed? They sent my order for pick up to a location an hour away and I had not realized it until I arrived at the location 5 mins later in East York. I called the store and the girl claims they closed the store in East York but I can get the food from Vaughan. I said please cancel my order and she states, “I already pressed that it was made so I can’t cancel.” Then she asks me “should I still prepare the food?” “! What?! No! Cancel my order.”

I also know they have already made food there so this cancellation is NOT difficult to understand. How does one really make 1/2 a chicken in 5 mins.

I then call Uber and they tell me that the restaurant claims they made the meal already and can’t cancel the order because they used resources. Outright lying to the operator.

Food was terrible!!! The whole bbq chicken and chicken wings were completely dried out! Fries were soggy and the onion rings were soggy and falling apart! Absolutely disgusting!! We threw everything away! Don't waste your time and money with this place!! If I could give 0 stars I would! Not worth the money spent!! Would never recommend to anyone!!

Ordered the Family Meal on DD. Full rack bbq ribs, 12 wings, fries coleslaw and gravy.Everything was great, portions and flavours were great, only downfall was that ribs were over-salted. Entire dinner was cold but that was probably DD delivery driver issue.Would definitely give it another try.

I ordered their quarter chicken w/ fries meal and a poutine on ubereats. The amount of food you got for the quarter chicken meal was pretty good but the food itself was poor. Fries were soggy and unsalted while the chicken was alright. The poutine was the worse of all because they use some weird cheese (I suspect its the plasticy sliced cheese) and the fries were soggy and unsalted like the meal but it came in a styrofoam box that was only half filled.TLDR: not worth, try a different place.

Ordered through Uber Eats. Food was freshly made and delicious.
