Best sushi that you can get anywhere. Every time the quality and service is exceptional!

They need to invest in a mandoline. Ruined the sushi pizza I had with random sized cucumbers and onion slices. Service was good as usual but quality of food has gone down

Absolutely terrible the food was so underwhelming for the price it’s insane $80 for something you can get for around 30 dollars anywhere else. I can’t even understand how they have all these good reviews. go anywhere else you are paying 1/4 of the price and getting Way better food. Don’t get scammed by the reviews!!!!

I am extremely dissatisfied with my recent order. I ordered on uber as this was an option. There was no quantity specified for salmon sashimi but, there was a photo. The menu photo clearly showed 6 pieces of salmon sashimi per order. Based on that image, I ordered two orders because this meal was intended for two people. There was no quantity specified anywhere in the item description, so naturally I relied on the photo provided on the Uber Eats platform.

What I received was completely misleading and unacceptable — almost $30 for only 6 very small pieces of sashimi. Had the actual portion size been accurately represented, I would never have placed this order.

To make matters worse, I later checked the Kogani website and saw that one order of salmon sashimi is listed as 3 pieces for $3.99. On Uber Eats, that exact same order was listed for $11.99. I contacted Uber support and was told that Kogani sets the retail pricing on the Uber Eats platform. Charging nearly triple the price while also using misleading photos and failing to specify quantities is completely unacceptable.

As a third-party company representing restaurants on your platform, Uber Eats has a responsibility to ensure there are proper quality checks in place so customers are provided with accurate and transparent information when ordering. If photos do not match the actual product or quantities are not clearly stated, it creates a misleading and deceptive experience for customers.

This order did not match what was advertised, the pricing was outrageously inflated, and the photo is an inaccurate listing and misleading presentation of the item.

The fish was super fresh, especially the uni which melted in my mouth. Super welcoming and warm environment! Would definitely come back again.

The man in the Hawaiian shirt hovered over us like we were already overstaying our welcome — strange, given how empty the place was. The music had zero Japanese ambience, and the menu stings even with a Groupon. Dinner for two with no easily splittable dishes? A bit of an oversight.
Honestly, this place cuts corners quietly, and it shows. The food was tasty and our server was genuinely lovely. But the man who brought the cheque left a sour note at the end of an otherwise lukewarm evening.

Koganei Japanese Seafood absolutely blew me away. Every dish was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. You can really tell they care about quality and authenticity. The seafood was some of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly prepared and melt-in-your-mouth good. Service was great too, making the whole experience even better. Easily a 10/10—can’t wait to go back.
