I went to this restaurant with my friends for my birthday. It's usually crowded, and the prices are average compared to the quality of the food. In my opinion, it's really worth it for special occasions, and I'd love to go back there again.

Went multiple times, food is excellent (Risotto and Chicken Parm are both great). Good atmosphere but felt odd the one time going and they had a DJ there which didn't really fit the vibe

Celebrated my mom’s and aunt’s birthday here on saturday, we were a party of 10. everything was amazing from start to finish, the lady who took us to our table was fast with having the staff set everything up, drinks and food came out super fast and portions were huge! the waitress was very nice and diligent. we were surprised by the turn of music at the end, it felt like a true party! thank you for accommodating us on a short notice as well Romano’s, will be excited to return when the patio opens as well!

Very good food! But.. Overly priced. The space is super cramped and very noisy, at least it was on Saturday evening when we were there.

This place was great. I’m not someone who explores Woodbridge or Vaughn for food but since I heard that this is the area for good Italian food I did some research and this place was one of the few that had a good buzz. Came here with my girlfriend to celebrate our anniversary and I’m glad this is the place we chose. Our server was great. The atmosphere was nice. Menu wasn’t too overwhelming. Great that they had a good amount of beer options, Moretti on tap was great. We got the Shrimp ANGELICO which was really good and also the beet salad (too citrusy for me), my partner enjoyed it. For main we shared the surf and turf platter, which was huge and tasted great. Well worth the money spent. For dessert we had tiramisu and it was honestly the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. Our server is actually the one who makes it in house ever week and she did not disappoint. Overall great experience, would def come here again for another special occasion.

Romano's authentic Italian fare was abundant, delicious, and presented like a work of art. The restaurant was tastefully decorated, a comfortable setting. The service was outstanding, very responsibe and prompt. All in all, a high quality dining experience.

I'm SO surprised with the positive reviews. I really think people get caught up in the hype do not have independent thinking skills. A lot of our friends recommended this place and both of us did NOT like this place at all in terms of food.I went for my birthday last week and I'm pretty selective with where I eat so this was a big big disappointment. I eat tons of Italian food and I can assure you this pasta was not even in my top 50. The gnocchi pasta was OKAY. It didn't taste fresh at all. Not sure if they do have fresh home made pasta but my meal tasted like a microwave oven dish which is surprising because we spent $350! The tomato sauce wasn't very well balanced. It was very acidic and didn't have a nice smoothness to it. Tasted like grocery store pasta sauce to be honest. I really wanted to like it but none of us were fans of the food. Maybe my standards are high but when I come to Vaughan for an Italian restaurant, I want it it taste like someone's grandma is making it in the back. The osyters were good though! The bread was SO DRY. The caramel carrot cake was probably the best dessert and the tiramisu was just OKAY.

4 of us dined here on a Saturday night. Restaurant was packed and very loud. We had pizza, calamari and a grande bowl of Cesar salad. Everything was delicious except we were surprised at the price of the Grande Cesar salad which was $38.00, the bowl wasn’t too grande. We had the osso bucco, which was very, very good but my piece was tiny compared to someone else’s portion, in our party. Service was not personal, they were very polite but they rushed in and out. Many parties going on. I would go back except next time I would ask to not be seated next to a large birthday party of 30 people.
