As always, the food was excellent. Start off with an order of Spiducci every time we are there. Service was a bit slow as had a number of large parties. Our server was pleasant and warm and treated well. Although there were a lot of patrons, the structure of the restaurant deadens the noise and so can hear your voice when you speak, which can make or break an evening. Spent over 2.5 hours and was not rushed out.
I have been to several Italian restaurants across the country and when in Toronto, Romano's is a definite must. Food, Service, Dining Experience - all exceptional. The hospitality alone will make you want to come back. Food choices and accommodations for diet preferences is never questioned and the kitchen staff always seem to be able to create very good solutions. Give Romanos a try and I promise you wont be disappointed!
Food is amazing and that is the only reason why I came back. We met with old friends but music was way to loud and we weren't able to communicate. Service was very slow. Waited 10 min to get the venues, 35 min for food and 30 min waited for the bill to pay )))
