A true gem for the gluten-free community!

I can't say enough good things about this place. As someone who's family member is celiac, finding a restaurant where I don't have to worry about cross-contamination and where the food actually tastes *incredible* — is rare. This spot delivers on both fronts.

The take-out is fantastic, easy to order, and always arrives fresh and flavorful. Their frozen food selection is a lifesaver too — it's so nice to stock the freezer with meals that taste homemade instead of the usual bland gluten-free options.

And the cannolis... honestly, to die for. Crisp shell, perfectly sweet filling, you'd never guess they're gluten-free. The desserts across the board are a standout.

For anyone with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity, this is the kind of place you wish existed in every neighborhood. Highly recommend!

What an incredible hidden gem! This tiny, 100% gluten-free restaurant completely exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by the owner, who was so warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what she does. While we waited, she treated us to a sample of her homemade bread, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken parmigiana sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had—huge, packed with flavor, and served on the most amazing bread: perfectly crusty on the outside, yet incredibly soft and moist on the inside. You would never guess it’s gluten-free! If you’re in Toronto, this place is an absolute must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

Great gluten-free sandwiches! A little pricey, but to be expected being GF and given the size of the sandwich.

I was absolutely thrilled to find this hidden gem in Woodbridge with the most amazing Italian and gluten-free food and pastries. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere is very welcoming and clean. I can’t wait to go back!

Celiac safe and such good authentic Italian deli sandwiches. Outstanding pastries that felt like we were still in Europe. Friendly and welcoming - this is a must for celiac and non celiac spouses!

The interior leaves a bit to be desired and I was left waiting a bit but this veal parmigiana ROCKED MY WORLD.

She said no matter what you choose l, it’ll be delicious and SHE DIDN’T LIE.

This Veal Parmesan is truly a crown befitting a king. I’d come here everyday if I lived closer.

The cannoli was good and is filled fresh so if you’re really craving one I’d recommend trying this place but steel yourself for the price. There are no prices listed on ANYTHING. If you do decide to go, absolutely ask for prices before buying because I guarantee you the price will be triple what you expected. Definitely check other Italian grocers in the area before buying any imported italian grocery items like crackers or pasta cuz schiroso upcharges. While I’m used to paying more for GF foods, this is just absurdly overpriced.
Fyi there is one table with a few seats so getting take-out is ideal.

Authentic and fresh Italian gluten-free food! It’s really nice to have a place where you can feel confident that the food is truly gluten free and safe for people with celiac disease. We got two sandwiches and both were very good. The tomato sauce in the sandwiches was especially delicious. I also tried the frozen lasagna and really enjoyed it. I bought frozen bagels as well, but they were a bit too heavy for my taste. Overall, everything else was really good. The only downside is that the prices are quite high, and they do not accept credit cards.

Had the worst experience here, genuinely the worst customer service I’ve ever had.

Came in with my mom and right away it was weird. My mom asked if everything was gluten free and the woman (pretty sure she’s the owner since her face is literally the logo) goes “looks like someone doesn’t know how to read.” Like??? At that point I already wanted to leave but we drove pretty far so we stayed.

It didn’t get better. The whole time she seemed annoyed, rushing us, just bad vibes overall. We ordered two chicken parm sandwiches and the food was honestly terrible. Bread was hard as a rock and way bigger than the chicken, and the chicken itself was super thin and dry.

We went outside to eat and while we’re mid-bite she comes out, asks how it is, then tells us we’re eating it wrong. Then she literally grabs the sandwich out of my mom’s hand, re-wraps it, and goes “this is how you eat it properly.” I was actually in shock… like who does that??

Whole time I felt like I was being pranked and someone was about to jump out like it’s an episode of Punk’d with Ashton Kutcher. It was that ridiculous.

Never coming back. Wish I read the one-star reviews first.

The food itself was really good, if i qas told this isn't gluten-free I'd believe it. The chicken sandwich was my favorite (can honestly be 2 meals in 1) but the vodka sauce pasta was delicious as well. The dessert themselves are amazing especially the cake. This place does fall on the pricey side but it's worth it.

Schiroso Gluten Free Foods offers an incredible range of gluten-free options that truly don’t feel like a compromise. From fresh, made-to-order lunches to a great selection of premade meals, everything is high quality, flavourful, and satisfying.

The real standout, though, is the desserts—the cannoli and zeppole are some of the freshest and most delicious I’ve ever had, gluten-free or not. This place is a must-visit for anyone looking for authentic, amazing gluten-free food done right.

Gluten free done right. Pizza was very good and they offer vegan cheese. Only one table inside. Great for takeout. Lots of pastries and they cater.
