“Breakfast for 6 people arrived all at once and was delicious, the pancake combo & eggs were as ordered the omelettes were perfect and the spinach was fresh. The owner was very friendly and his family were also amazing. The service was phenomenal. Great prices and portions!
Parking: 1$ per half hour $4 was perfect for our stay.“

“Amazing price for the food. It has a great menu. Food always seems very fresh and the service is up there. We have a crew of 20 people at times and they can have the food come out in a timely fashion. Great for a work crew or a family. Seems to be a staple in the area. Hidden gem.“

“My wife and I stopped here for breakfast and were so glad we did. Our server Madison was great. She was a ray of sunshine. She knew the names of everyone in the place and asked us our names as well. The food was fantastic. The pancakes reminded me of the ones my mom would make for me and my sister. Jodie was in the kitchen working feverishly at making everyone’s order exactly as they wanted but still took a few seconds to say hello to a regular. The food, service and prices are amazing. Don’t let the dated look of the building turn you away. You will NOT be disappointed, you will be grateful you did. Support local businesses.“

“Called ahead and the food was ready in no time, neatly packed, nice and warm.
Recommend the Diablo sandwich: perfectly spicy, not too hot.
Sandwiches are a good size, not too big.
Fried potato side is unreal!
Ask about the daily soup: all homemade, perfect European-style chicken soup!
No pictures because my co-workers and I ate our food too fast!

“First time eating at this location and I can confidently say that this was the best experience I’ve ever had at a Swiss Chalet. It was a bit tricky to find the door (as the usual path from 700 University was locked for the weekend) but we eventually found it after walking a few steps down from University Ave, west side. As soon as you enter, the restaurant has a cozy feel but is still bright due to the ample windows. Everything was clean and in order. The food was absolutely delicious, everything was hot and fresh, especially the Chalet Sauce! Our server Remy was exceptionally kind, pleasant, and attentive to our requests - haven’t had such a great experience service-wise in a while! We really appreciated it and it made a difference in how much we enjoyed our meal. Thank you Swiss Chalet and thank you Remy! We’ll be back soon.“

“Went here for their 4 person hot pot beef set, and everything tastes amazing! The food was flavourful, the menu has a variety of food choices and their side dishes taste also are great. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is quite nice as well. Would recommend!“

“Sorry I can’t take all the photos because I was soo busy eating food. The food was flavorful, with the Thakali Khana and momos being highlights. The Samosa Chaat and Chicken Chilli were well-spiced, and the biryani was delicious. For dessert, the Gulab Jamun was too good, and the ice cream refreshing. Service was quick and friendly and everyone is so humble in there. Must visit place and taste like home❣️❣️“
