We loved it! Yes it's a little noisy but the adds to the whole experience. My son and I got amazing steaks, an appetizer, 2 cocktails and dessert was included for under $150!! And the food was perfectly done! This is a must for us anytime we are near pismo

We live in Nipomo and really WANT to love Jocko's, and I've resisted writing a review for that very reason. We have been many times, and nothing horrible, it's just not as great as it could be/once was. This last time, I had filet mignon and it was good, not outstanding, but good. However, my husband had a Spencer steak that he could not even cut with the steak knife. Super tough. My husband never complains about his food, and we were with friends for a night out so he didn't want to make a fuss, but it was inedible. For the money and experience, we would rather drive to Orcutt to go to Far Western and have an outstanding meal. This breaks my heart -- we love our town and really want to support the local eateries, but Jocko's needs some help.

Food and service were great. But I'm disappointed that none of my requests I made during booking were granted. In the "add a special request" section when booking I explained that this was for my wife's birthday and it would be nice for her to be recognized in some way on her birthday. Not a single word, comment, nothing. That was really disappointing.
You don't go to Jockos if you are in a rush. You go for good food, spending time with friends and family, and to enjoy the ambiance. Service is slow and you will likely be seated after your reservation. The food is worth it though.

we have been coming to Jackos for many years and it has changed a lot we really used to love the pickled vegetables they use to give you, the bread was bigger the taste of the beans is spicer and the price has really jumped up as compared to prior covid time but anyway every time we are in town we always go for dinner cause the food is just as delicious as it was before you can't get a steak like that just anywhere

This was recommended to me and the food did indeed meet expectations. There was a long wait for the food, however, over an hour but the restaurant was very full. I would go again if we are ever in the area!
Our reservation was for 7:30 but we weren't seated until 8:20. This seems to happen every time we go here, which is part of the reason we won't be going back. Once seated, it took 20 minutes to get waited on. The waitress forgot our appetizer and the crab cakes were room temp and soggy. The filet and fries were great, the sirloin was undercooked. I really want to like this place but our last few visits have been brutal.

We went on a Saturday night with reservations for 6pm. We were seated at about 6:30. People were waiting to get in all night long and for good reason...it may have been the BEST STEAK I've ever had. Once we were seated the service was pleasant, quick and efficient despite how busy they were and with several very large parties. My wife and I split the 20oz ribeye and it was cooked perfectly (medium rare) and VERY flavorful. It was served with a salad, baked potato and their special beans (which were also very good!). For dessert we had ice cream. I wonder if it was made in house because it too was delicious. Finally I'd be remiss if I didn't give a shoutout to the bar tender. She made a very nice Manhattan! We will definitely be back.

Arrived for 6p reservation. Told that our table was being made up. After waiting 15-20 min told that people were finishing..another 15-20 min elapsed before we were seated. We were served at 8:30. The server(Monica) was great.

Waited 10 minutes after our 5:30 reservation time to be seated. Very noisy. I wish patrons did not smoke cigarettes right outside of the entrance. Food was great, service very good, crowded so that's probably why the food took longer than normal to be served. Busy Saturday night.
We had great food and the BEST Service Jake was awesome, he was polite, friendly and made sure to refill coffee and drinks Was spot on in bringing extra bread, to go box and timely with checking was out. Could not have been happier with the service it was excellent. Food always great there

Excellent food and service reservations worked out great and got seated fast. Not in love with their side by side seating arraignments. You have to sit right next to another party, they listen to you and you have to listen to them. Spread the seating out a bit jockos I didn't come to dine with the couple next to myself and my wife

This is a return trip for my boyfriend and I, and it did not disappoint. I had made reservations for 6 PM, but arrived earlier than we thought, and we were seated promptly. I had the combo half rack of pork ribs and beef ribs - he had the full rack of pork ribs. Aside from the two beef ribs being less meaty than anticipated (for the price), the food was wonderful. We will be returning, nothing beats those smoky ribs!!

A bit of a wait but it was a Saturday night. Got lucky and found two seats at the bar for a pre dinner cocktail. Perfect 20oz Ribeyes with enough leftover for another meal. Jocko's never fails!

Jocko's is always on point! Food is delicious fresh, hot and tasty. You definitely will not be disappointed. The staff is super friendly. We don't live in the area but when in town we always make jocko's a must stop .
