“It’s my first time visiting this restaurant and from ordering food to having it in the restaurant, everything was amazing about it. I was greeted by Umut ( Very friendly guy, also seemed passionate about what he does). I was recommended a Shawarma plate and every single element was surprisingly fresh and had its own unique flavour. The sauces were elevating the overall dish very well, all the greens were crunchy and well preserved.
Protein was well cooked and was well seasoned, nicely complimented with potatoes and rice.
One thing if I would like to see different is some variety in rice or maybe bit seasoned but when I was having the dish as a whole, then I understood the reason why it was kept that way.
Overall pretty amazing experience, I would definitely come back here again and to my friend Umut, thanks for being so kind man. Keep up that smile on your face, and the good work you do.“

“I had a great experience at Iranian Shamshiri Restaurant. The quality of the food is excellent, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The portion sizes are generous, making it a great value for the price. However, the number of seats is limited, and the restaurant can get quite busy, especially on weekends. This often results in long wait times for a table. I’d recommend making a reservation in advance to avoid waiting. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for a delicious meal, and I would definitely recommend it

“Your food is good, but did you take the time to go to Persian Twitter to see what people wrote about you and your restaurant, you somehow became infamous, many things were written on Twitter about low-level customer service, bad behavior with customers, and disrespectful behavior of the cashier. unfortunately, the restaurant has been replaced by a new one called Lili Kitchen. I was charged for my order, but Sumac no longer exists. Be careful if you're still seeing Sumac’s website or old information – it's outdated! The new restaurant in its place is called Lili Kitchen“

“Grilled to perfection every single time! The food is fresh & absolutely worth the wait. Good foord requires patience! I've tried the spicy chicken tikka plate & wrap, the butter chicken plate, the lamb shank plate & falafel wrap! Every dish is delicious, very fresh & full of flavour with classic ingredients. “Stopped by this place pre-concert at the Opera House.
Such a gem! Had the beef doner plate, which was packed with an assortment of food. The beef was cooked just right - some texture but not too chewy (imagine steak shredded). Packing each bite with some rice, beef, and veggies made it even better. So filling and worth it for its price.
My friend had the chicken doner plate and it was just as good. Chicken was so tender.
We were served a starter and some tea as well. Super attentive service.

“The food was AMAZING. I ordered the shawarma bowl with rice and it was delicious. It has a home cooking touch that a lot of food places don’t have.
Auntie was super nice and friendly and sweet, and she even filled the container past the brim.
