“Excellent food options at this Mexican restaurant. The corn ribs and quesabirria were outstanding.
A bit disappointed to be seated at the very back of the restaurant at a makeshift table despite having a reservation. We were told other tables upfront were also reserved, but we didnt see anyone sit there during our entire stay.

“The burger itself can have more veggies but the meat was fresh so I loved it. The portion of regular fries were huge and Yucca fries were so good too.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Sat down at the patio. It was a such a good vibe.

Mine was Classic burger on too of the menu w beef, upgraded fries. Including 15% tips it was 30 in total“

“It was my first time here. I'm looking for a venue with a Latin vibe and was not disappointed. This operation is about 6 years old, clean and well organised. I was happy with the positive ambiance, food and drink selection was good, the staff were helpful and friendly and I enjoyed the music. Had a chat with the Dj. He was very informative about the entertainment. I will definitely revisit to try more on the menu, try more drinks, and enjoy the entertainment.“

“I came here after some drinks with friends across the street. We were outstanded by the quality of the food. I had the carne asada burrito and it was delicious. My friends had the empanadas which were equally delicious. The highlight of the meal was the guacamole which was so FRESH despite us coming in an hour before closing. I would highly recommend anything of the menu as the quality of their cooking is phenomenal.“

“Are you craving for Mexican food, then this is the right place. They serve extremely delicious and authentic spanish food. The couple who runs this place are very friendly and hospitable . Tried Vegetarian tacos, quesdila and strawberry and chocolate Churos. Will visit again with family.

“My father loves this place and when it comes to spending quality time together, we always come here.
We always have the menestra, like today, and it's such a lovely meal. The dish is available in a small ($17) or big size, and the small is very filling. Sometimes it's a bit of a wait (especially on weekends) but it is delicious. Steak, salad, beans, plaintain and rice, and if you are around for lunch they have a special that includes a soup + drink ($25-for menestra+soup+drink).
The food is always prepared on order, so it is as fresh as it comes. As for the atmosphere of the plaza, this is the kind of place you come to for traditional, laid-back, and food prepared just like they way they do it home. Where the tables are, they are usually projecting/playing sports on the tvs.
In terms of service, once you order, they give you a number and you take it with you to sit a table and wait until the food is ready. It's not fancy - but that's the charm, it's homestyle; warm, filling and operated by a close knit Ecuadorian family.

“I love this place so much I have been so many times with my family and it never disappoints. Most recently I got the menestra and it tasted AMAZING!!! Other times I have gotten empanadas and the encebollado and both are soooo yummy. Amazing staff amazing service amazing food amazing everything I 100% recommend this restaurant 🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️“

“Just all the right things are in place here. We first tried their food when the GEM patio opened during COVID. We loved it. We finally made it to their own space in person. Lovely patio, fabulous service, great menu and food, spot on cocktails and wine list. A total win for us!“

“The food was delicious — especially the braised beef, macaroni pie and pork belly tacos, which were both packed with flavor. My cocktail was a bit too strong for my taste, so I couldn’t finish it, but everything else was great. The space is quite small and felt a little tight, but the atmosphere was lively. I went on a Friday night with a 9:15 reservation and waited about 10 minutes for our table, which wasn’t too bad. I’d definitely recommend trying this spot and would go back again, probably on a weeknight when it’s a bit less busy.“

“Tried this place on a whim and were so glad we did! Our food was so delicious, the drinks were amazing but Mark made the whole night even better! He was so sweet and made sure we had everything we needed to make the night perfect. They even accidentally made one of the drinks twice and Mark offered it to us for free! So sweet! Definitely will be coming back“

“My husband is from Honduras and hadn’t eaten Honduran food in two years. We drove from Kitchener to enjoy the food at this restaurant and it did not disappoint! Delicious food, great service, and a wonderful community of people.“
