North of Brooklyn Pizzeria

Absolutely terrible experience. I finished work on new years eve and decided to get pizza delivered to my place so I could enjoy some good food to ring in the new year. When I finished ordering on uber eats, I had been charged, but it said that it was now closed, but that I would have my food delivered between 8PM and 8:30PM. I was confused, so I decided to stop by the restaurant on Greenwood where I had ordered from and figure out what was going on. I waited for about 20 minutes to finally talk to someone about my order, and he told me that they weren't taking any more orders on Uber eats, but I told him that I had been charged and on the app it showed that it would be delivered between a certain time. He didn't have an answer to that so he called someone else over and he also proceeded to tell me the exact same thing, to which I showed him my Uber eats order and he said it must have been a glitch but he only had 3 orders on Uber eats and my name wasn't one of them. He told me that I would be refunded. I was pretty disappointed with the lack of understanding for this mistake, and instead of doing something about it just waved me away and said I would be refunded. As I was leaving, I decided to just order anyway while there, and wait and then just Uber home so my food wouldn't get cold. I had to wait another 20 minutes or so while others pushed in and tried to get their orders, and right before I got to speak to the same first gentleman I spoke to, I received an email from Uber eats confirming my order. So when I spoke to them again, I showed them that now I have an email confirming that I have an order, to which the second guy I spoke to then reloaded his list and it showed my name, and he repeated what I had ordered and he was like "oh okay no worries man, we have the order now", and I responded with saying it's okay if it arrives a bit later, but as long as I received it, and he replied "it says between 8PM-8:30PM, we'll have it to you then". I said okay great, and left happy. Got home, and was checking the Uber eats app for updates, and around 720PM, it showed that my order was being worked on and that the estimated arrival was 8PM. Around 740PM, it showed as estimated arrival 8:10PM. Then, at 7:55PM, it was showing that estimated arrival was 8:20PM, and then next minute it said "oops, you're order was canncelled and cannot be fulfilled ".

To make matters worse, the only reason I stopped at the restaurant is because on my way home, I tried calling 6 times, and nobody answered. Then, when my order was cancelled by them, I called another 10 or more times trying to figure out what was going on, and nobody answered. Luckily, I was able to order from somewhere else before they closed. The fact that this place couldn't have been less prepared for new years eve is disappointing, and I will never be ordering from there again. Can't tell you how the food was because they didn't make any for me even though they confirmed and told me I'd get my pizza later that evening.

Eat in is a 5 star but takeout is a zero! I only live a 5 minute drive away and have a delivery bag with me to keep food fresh and when I got home the pizza was cold like it was sitting on top of the pizza oven for 20 minutes. They quoted 55 minutes for pick up and I still showed up at the 45 minute mark and it was waiting when I got there, which I would much prefer to wait 5 minutes for the pizza to finish then them have their timing way off and it be sitting there for a considerable amount of time for it to be cold in a pizza bag when I got home! Maybe make the pizza closer to the pick up time?

Was looking forward to pizza night ordered two pies for the family. 90 minutes later only one pie shows up. Have heard great things but disappointed about a ruined family meal. Won’t be coming back anytime soon :(

We decided to order takeout pizza and, since it was really cold outside decided to eat at one of the empty tables. However, a staff member abruptly informed us that the tables were strictly reserved for dine-in customers and asked us to leave. I understand if there was a line up for tables but nobody was waiting. While the pizza was excellent, the lack of courtesy and flexibility from the staff left much to be desired. .

I went on a very busy night at this location for the first time, and it was incredible. Jack and Kristina were great servers that were awesome, and food was amazing!

I got the vodka verde and margarita pizza that was perfectly cooked. Also highly recommend the garlic dips, and speciality hot sauce.

Great pizza and with amazing ambience. Great spot for a date night or with friends.

I specifically enjoyed their garlic dip, it tasted great and made with real ingredients. Whereas other dips like Pizza Pizza make you feel yucky.

The pizza is great too! No wonder it was on Portnoys top places in Toronto

We ordered for delivery, hence no review for atmosphere.
Food came in a timely manner.
Pizza was delicious- nice thin crust, appropriate amount of toppings for a thin crust pizza. The medium was bigger than we were expecting. We ordered both kinds of salads- the arugula was good, the ceasar salad was ok- not the best I have had, but I would order again. Overall very pleased! Well done!
