Shawarma House Albany is an outdoor food cart with amazing people making amazing food. The food is wonderful, fresh, hearty, and very authentic. The portions are generous, and the falafel plate has plenty of tasty leftovers. The shawarma wrap is spot on, and the falafel flavor is spot on with aioli on top. The lamb gyro is stuffed full of goodness, and the falafel gyro is to die for with spices and flavors in point. The triple meat platter has juicy and succulent meat, with flavorful rice, garlic sauce, and hummus. The pita bread is soft, pillowy, thick, and delicious. The baklava is flaky and rich. The service is incredibly friendly, and the guys go above and beyond. This is the best halal food, better than anything in NYC.
