I don't like giving negative reviews, but they earned it. Mostly for the non-existent service. The craft drinks were, eventually, well made, and the food, once it eventually arrived, was, well, fine. Except the server forgot part of our order, and I was given something different than what I ordered. What was supposed to be a pleasant, leisurely, pre-show dinner turned into a frustratingly long wait, made worse by not seeing our server at any time after we ordered our food, seeing parties seated after us getting their meals, and rushing a few bites and taking most of dinner to go.The only thing that happened quickly was being given a menu.

Love this place!!!! Just had the special they have today, a Duck Ruben! It was sooooooo good mad props to the Chef!!! Best Ruben I have had in awhile!! And of course I have to mention the deviled eggs best in rhe valley!!!
Great food and even better drinks! The brisket was delicious and the cocktails were perfect.

Loved nashville hot sandwich! The chicken was properly cooked not too soaky, pulled pork with greens and hams were also great! Jesse let me try different shots of whiskey and really friendly and nice :) I would definitely come back here!

I'm really sadly disappointed by this food. I had heard amazing things, the menu is great, but the food was bland. Maybe I've spent too much time in the south eating actually good southern food. the mac n cheese was basically nothing, the potato chips added nothing and the cheese had no flavor. I was so excited for the hushpuppies, but the pimento cheese made it taste raw and too cheesy. the popcorn chicken was fine, big portion and sriracha ranch was great of course. the salad with the apples was good. overall I'm very sad and probably won't be back.

Our server Jesse was awesome and very helpful. The food was amazing. Classic Nashville hot chicken sandwich with the coleslaw was a hit as well as the chicken tacos and Mac n cheese!
Rather slow service due to one person in the kitchen and one out front to seat and tend bar. My buttermilk chicken was burned. Mac n cheese has nutmeg in it which I am not a fan of. The pulled pork, coleslaw, and atmosphere are good.

Fantastic spot off 2nd St in Ashland.I was jonesin for some Nashville Hot Chicken and they had that and then some. Special was Duck Legs (I choose the Nashville style), on point.Popcorn Chicken was a healthy serving, Half Chicken cooked to perfection. Deviled / Pickled Eggs presented very well, Brisket on Point Not one complaint.Plus : best whiskey section in town.

If you visit Asheville without eating here you are wasting your time.The brisquit dip is life changing, house made pickles are amazing, going back tonight to try the fried chicken.Good service and a well stocked bar. What more can you ask For.This place is legit.
