Laina Tuttle knocked it out of the park. She knows customer service, no, she should be the face of customer service. She makes me feel like I’m at home whenever I come in. We need more people like her in this world. I would trust her with anything!

Cute espresso cafe. Chill vibe, plenty of places to sit, comfy couch, people watching and friendly service. Will tell my friends about it!

Everything we ordered was amazing. It’s such a nice spot to sit and enjoy breakfast with the family.

Went in last week for a quick coffee. They got the order wrong. Asked them to fix it, and they wanted to charge me. Won't be back.

Super unfriendly owner ,
Very childish untrained staff….

I walk in with a tote back and books to journal unfortunately before I even sat down I get attacked with a “you have to buy something “ like excuse me can I not get settled in do you not see my hands are full ….

Before I even try to sit down a worker was telling me I can’t sit there … I didn’t know she was a worker until she then very passively told me “you have to purchase something (I thought she was waiting for friends this whole time) and than the owner comes in very strong from behind me and says the same thing! I was extremely upset at this point & didn’t appreciate the passive sneak attack approach I felt from the owner and employee !! Remind you while all this was happening there was another employee facing the glass door giggling…. it was SO SO SO unprofessional and embarrassing!

Too add, I also had a Starbucks drink so THE OWNER than continues and says that’s against health code violation as I told her I’ve been coming in here for the past two weeks no one has said anything and due to my peanut allergy I like to go to Starbucks as i know what’s in my drink! She sayswell we have the same thing as Starbucks .. okay so then how is it a health code violation? So then she says we don’t allow outside drinks! Like okay now that makes sense …

& again don’t get me wrong , I understand enforcing rules an not at all against that as I have my own business I totally get it but there is a way to approach someone when addressing something …and training your staff correctly to conduct themselves as a professional worker is HUGE!! They are a direct reflection of YOU and YOUR business and not making it a protocol for them to know the rules can cost you business !!

Seem to me these workers can’t assert rules and too scared to let someone know the rules until 2 week after the fact … so I genuinely felt attacked & so caught off guard ! In the 3 times I went I purchased something other than 1 time …. So it’s Sad to say but I was really happy with this place and was making it my go to place to have some me time for when I travel between my two places here and LA !!!! I truly believe having regulars is the best for business but now I won’t ever go back there… I won’t ever forget how rude and embarrassing that felt especially with how untrained and childish the workers behaved .. Litealy baffled me!

My new favorite local coffee spot! Sam is super nice and love striking up a conversation with them. They have great bagels and coffee comes out pretty quick. Super chill place in the mornings to hang out and watch the morning traffic. I work right across the street so probably will continue to be a friendly face.

As a DoorDash driver, their service is slow. As an Instacart shopper, they are lousy at tipping. $2-3 for 8-10 gallons of milk each time they need a delivery

The workers, especially the red headed girl, were super nice and awesome. The food was really good, at such reasonable prices. I got a chicken salad sandwhich and a Creme Caramel. The coffee was smooth and delicious, and tasted fresh. Definitely stop in here for cheerful service, yummy food and refreshing drink.

The food here is so good and it is really nice to have a coffee shop with a solid lunch menu and not just pastries. The pesto aioli they put in their grilled cheese is to die for. Their coffee is really good to and the location is a lovely place to meet a friend or get some work done in the heart of downtown.

Active manager, delightful, hardworking staff, a casual, cozy ambiance, and exceptional food and drinks...I thoroughly enjoy my visits there!

Cramped without feeling cozy. Expensive dishes for what you get. And they charge per cup for diner coffee. It will do in a pinch but there are better options in the area for the dosh.

Decent coffee at the Bank. I would not ride 1996 miles for a cup of this coffee, but it sure is effective at getting things moving.

I’ve always loved the original Jacksonville location, and this one in Ashland is altogether a different experience visually, but equally inspiring and the service and coffee equally amazing ?☕️??

I love this place. If you're tired of all the "hipstery" coffee shops around town, this is your place. Nobody will judge you for ordering a mocha instead of an organic fair trade liberica locally roasted cappuccino with goat milk. The space is shared with a bank (???), so don't expect a cute Ashland coffee shop. However it's a good place to work from. WiFi is good, and it has some comfy tables and couches to relax while having your zoom meeting. Also the staff is really friendly, which is not very common amongst the Ashland's baristas ( is it part of the job description?). By the way, they also have good coffee (including organic fair trade....) and the food is good as well.

It is a nice downtown coffee shop. The coffee is good and the service is good. Next to city parking and EV charging. Sit inside or under the umbrellas out in front.
