First visit to this restaurant. I came on recommendation from a co-worker to entertain a group of customers. The view and the restaurant itself are awesome. The service, food and drinks were even better. Cannot recommend enough. I will find another reason to come here soon.
We Would visit again, food was good but the crab cocktail was mostly body meat, and portions on other dishes were skimpy. Service was outstanding and made up for the weak offerings.

We made reservations and we got right in at our scheduled time. The host was very friendly and helpful and our waitress was also very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and we received it very promptly. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Always very good. It was our anniversary and they went the extra "mile" to make the occasion memorable for us. Excellent food, service and surroundings. I appreciate that they treat you as if they know you. (The new owners have made BB an excellent restaurant. The managers have made the operation far more efficient, professional and user-friendly than ever before. Kudos to ownership and management!)

Wonderful space, great views of the Megler Bridge. Service was excellent, food was great albeit a bit on the expensive side. I thought $5 per shucked raw oyster was a bit much as was $48 for three delicious scallops with couscous. All in all, a nice experience.

My adult son had ahi tuna. He had a very upset stomach all night. The fried fish I had was OK. The Romaine salad my husband had was adequate, but quite pricey for basically just romaine lettuce, a bit of cheese and dressing. The service was fine. The ambience was pleasant.

The location is iconic an old waterfront machine shop that has been converted into a lovely restaurant. Our lunch experience was great. Friendly & attentive staff and the food was superb. I had the Tuna Nicoise Salad which was lovely. Under relatively new ownership the Bridgewater Bistro continues to shine.
We ordered the rib eye steak. It was perfected cooked, medium rare, however, it was VERY tough, and we could not complete the meal. The bread was very good, as were the vegs. Our server was fine. the manager did offer us dessert at no charge, which we accepted. the guitar layer was terrible my husband is a classical guitar player) and their player was actually a distraction instead of an addition. We probably would not return to this restaurant.

I have been to Bridgewater Bistro many times and know that restaurants can have their "ups and downs." We ordered the clam and mussel chowder as a starter and the potatoes were hard, very undercooked. We also ordered the avocado toast with crab and the plate was so small that it was presented on we had a difficult time cutting the toast. It was good but presentation was not great. Service was very good, as always. I do wish Bridgewater would "shake up" their menu a bit. Other than the seafood special, the menu stays the same.
Was seated upstairs so no view even tho we had a reservation.Person delivering food just set it all down for customers to sort. Server did great job but food deliverer put a damper on everything. He clearly did not want to be there. We've been here many times and it has always been good but this was clearly sub par.
Definitely not the experience we were expecting. The restaurant manager decided to take a large takeout order to the detriment of everyone who actually took the time to come to the restaurant. People who are in the restaurant not only care about coming into your establishment but also help the wait staff make ends meet by tipping them. We waited over one hour for our food. And when it came the only thing that was hot was the salmon. The Smoked Wild Mushroom Cassoulet had a minuscule amount of mushrooms. The Crispy Skin King Shinook Salmon came with five gnocchi-why bother? Our waiter was fantastic. Management did apologize and comped our meals but i don't think any of us would return. Overall a disappointing dinner at a recommended restaurant with a great view.

We made our annual trip to Astoria and the Bridgewater and had a lovely dinner. The only issue was the sauce for the asparagus was too thin and spread around the plate. The flavor was delicious, but it needed to hold together. The crispy skin salmon was perfect. The views, as always can't be matched. Service was attentive.
It had a great view. We were not waited on for awhile but when they discovered that we were given 3 appetizers for our group of 5. Food was good but not as much seafood selection as expected and entrees were a little spendy.

We celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary here and couldn't be more pleased with the food and service. Our server Darin was absolutely fantastic and the food was prepared to perfection. This was a tall order because we both ordered a sockeye salmon special. I never order salmon out because we get such excellent wild caught salmon locally that its something we prepare very nicely at home once or twice a week. The fish was just amazing and perfectly prepared, the same can be said for our oysters on the half shell appetizer, which are sourced just a few miles north of the "bridge"- so fresh. To finish we ordered desserts to go and they were delicious. Thanks for (another) wonderful anniversary dinner this year! Everything was just perfect.
We visited Bridgewater on recommendation from our Airbnb host. The view was amazing. We were celebrating our 50th anniversary and were gifted with a glass of champagne. Our server was very gracious. Bread and salted whipped butter very tasty. We ordered the Brussels sprouts as an appetizer and they were amazing. We ordered the pan fried Chinook salmon to share. That was a disappointment. The fish had no flavor.
