If you're craving an aquatic adventure with your meal, look no further than this bistro perched precariously on a dock over the water. But beware, the only thing sinking faster than the sun on the horizon is the quality of the seafood dishes. My gumbo had rice so crusty and crunchy, I felt like I was chewing on a seashell, and the seafood portion was so sparse, it was like a marine scavenger hunt with only two shrimp and three clams. And don't even get me started on the blackened salmon – it came with gnocchi so deeply burned, it looked like it had a sunburn, and asparagus so wilted, it was auditioning for a part in a salad. It's like the chef took a dive into the ocean and brought back a recipe from Davy Jones' locker. But fear not, dear diner, for amidst the culinary chaos, there are beacons of hope. The wait staff glides through the chaos with the grace of a swan, and the wine selection is so good, it could convince a mermaid to trade her voice for a glass. Everyone here seems to be at the top of their game, except for the poor chef, who's probably still searching for his sea legs in the kitchen. But hey, if you're willing to overlook the mismatched ambiance and the hefty bill, this place might just float your boat. Just be sure to bring a life jacket – both for your palate and your wallet.

Been here several times. The food is always good and the staff always friendly. On our most recent visit, I ordered the ahi with crispy rice and carrot puree. It was incredible! The fish was cooked perfectly and the dish was very well balanced. We also had the Blondie with ice cream and it was also delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Our dinner took longer than usual to come and without us asking or complaining,, they comped us a glass of wine and dessert. Great customer service.

The best spot for gluten free options anywhere in the area, bar none. Lots of options for everyone of course, but the gf options are notable. A touch more limited for vegetarian/vegan AND gluten free. But you can make it work, and the view and beautiful surroundings are worth it. Not your cheapest meal in town but it will be one of your best.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free paradise as far as the coast is concerned

We happened upon this restaurant based on reviews here on Google Maps. What a nice find! My wife enjoyed salmon, I enjoyed "fish of the day" - a black cod on a bed of the most hearty, tasty clam-chowder-ish food ever. The views also were very nice. Recommended.

Some of the freshest food I’ve had in the PNW. The clam chowder and fish n chips were awesome. Same goes for the blueberry and cherry ciders.

First time Astoria visitor here. This cute Bistro on the Columbia River is well worth a visit if you are passing though. The food was absolutely delicious and I overheard the bread is made on site. I had some of their clam chowder along with a turkey blt, which I forgot to get a picture of. I washed it all down with some Earl Grey. The tea was aromatic and smooth. The clam chowder was so delicious, I would have been happy to just have that as my lunch. Lastly the Turkey BLT was amazing as well, it did fall apart at the end because it was on a croissant. But over all great experience. I removed only one star for service because I felt like I have to really press the wait staff to give me any opinions on the menu.

Our family gathered here for lunch last Wednesday, and our little one was captivated by the skeleton decor beneath the glass deck. While we enjoyed salads, fish and chips, and pasta with prawns, I found the pasta portion small and the flavor bland with only three prawns. ? However, the other dishes received high praise from my family members. Our waiter provided outstanding service and was incredibly helpful. The beautiful waterside view was an added bonus to our dining experience.
