The vanilla custard with raspberries and homemade lemon curd was THE BEST dessert I've had in a long time. Absolutely world class quality in such an unassuming setting. Thanks for the phenomenonal treat!!

This gem in Astoria serves such delightful “frozen custard” which, it turns out, is much more tasty than your typical soft serve! You have to try it! Unfortunately, we didn’t have the time in our stay to enjoy one of their burgers, but from the looks of the menu they sound so delicious! I would go back to Astoria just to try one. 😉

Delicious food. I got the pastrami burger and fries to go. But stayed and ate in the covered area on the side of the building. Nice river view too.

Despite the name, they do not serve custard. This is just regular run-of-the-mill soft serve ice cream. Custard contains eggs and therefore is smoother and more richer. Wasted my money here and wont go back.

with a name like custard king, youd think thatd be their main draw. our chocolate shake tasted more like vanilla soft serve. it was $45 for 2 burgers, a shake, a cup of custard, and a soft drink. our veggie burger (appreciated they even had one, but) fell apart. the fries are the only reason to visit, they were actually good, but idt you can order them on their own.

We got:

King Burger, Bacon Cheeseburger, chocolate shake and a soda. Absolutely delicious and a perfect last meal to finish our trip this weekend.

We ate here passing through Astoria. The bacon burger was cooked just the way I requested. And the fries were fresh and crisp, yet soft inside. The Custard was some of the best I've tasted.

I’m giving this establishment an 5-star rating based on the ice cream alone! Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to try their food since this was just a quick stop on our way to dinner.
It’s a walk-up counter where you place your order, and everything coming out of the window looked incredible. I went with their popular ice cream—though I forgot the exact name—but it was super creamy, full of flavor, and absolutely delicious.
Customer service was fast and friendly, making the experience even better. Next time I’m in Astoria, I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu!
