This place… what a trip… what a glorious, amazing trip. Super cool staff, HUGE cider selection, and enough NA beer choices to keep my partner from whining. All major wins. After a day touring gorgeous beaches, this was the perfect escape for us. It’s like walking into an actual spaceship. I forgot where I was. The lighting, the gorgeous sound (and trippy music), the freaking weird arcade games… all ON POINT. Absolutely NO NOTES. This little town of Astoria has zero idea...
Another gem of Astoria. Do you like Star Wars? Science fiction movies? The inside of this place will blow you away. The almost hidden black door opens to an outer space experience. Great drinks, great food, the guy at the bar was exceptionally nice. Very hard to explain the incredibleness of this place. Definately a place to bring the older kids as well. I'll definately be back with family and kids.
Ever since discovering Galactix we’ve made it a point to stop in whenever we visit Astoria! As a child of the 80’s I love the ambient sounds of arcades and being able to get a drink while we play (I hear that ethyl alcohol speeds up reaction times) really turns things up to 11. So to speak. My only “complaint” would be the lack of proper cocktails— I’m not a beer drinker but the generous selection of interesting ciders makes up for things. Welcome aboard and cheers!
