Wow! Okay, I'll be first to admit that cleanliness is an obsession when I review places to eat! The building was erected in 1900 with completion and some updated by 1926. The cafe is a toss back to some older days and a nod to some pinball heroes (think Southern California 7-11 in the early 70's) with a stage and venues. While their operating hours are short (closed at 3) their food is loooong in appeal. Space is their limitation and they k ow what their local, long-time patrons want. There isn't anything in their menu that you won't want to order again. And again. Just so you know: the labor temple is to the left of the cafe entrance. If that building could talk...

Went for Sunday breakfast, ordered and waited quite a while for our drinks. Then saw one of our items sit in the warmer for 14 mins. The host decided to bring our food and with that she brought a whole lot of attitude and sass. When brought to their attention the food sat way too long and was cold she offered a new one which was declined. Had the cooks make one anyways, then smart assedly told me that the food tempted to 160 so it wasn’t cold when I wouldn’t take her remake. After that was not checked on at all. Took 10 mins of being done eating to get the check and a box. Won’t be going back after the horrible service and sub par food. Staff more people and people who actually give a shit.

I ordered the hobo breakfast and the short stack of pancakes. Both were absolutely delicious! Very nostalgic and sent my taste buds back in time ,to the first pancakes I had as a child . 100/10

The staff is amazing. This place is so cool. Love the vintage pinball machines. I am vegan, but they have options that make it so tasty. The food comes very quickly considering how busy it gets on weekends. Highly recommend anyone check it out!

Came to visit for a wedding, busy restaurant thought must be good.. Bad thing we were there 3 hours, from waiting in line, to finally finishing our meal!! Totally ridiculous !
