Country Pride

Salad bar was great and service was great but the buffet didn't have many options and was pretty bare when we got there. They did restock some things but just didn't seem very fresh. Will definitely try it out again since it more than a buffet

I had the country fried steak my brother had the Breakfast buffet. The buffet was as expected. scrambled eggs a little over done. Biscuits and sausage gravy, bacon and ham were Good. Several other options plenty of food. My Country fried steak was a thick, well breaded ground meat paddy, I think it was a Pork and beef patty not sure exactly what, but it was good. As far as truck stop diners go, this is a pretty good one. The food on the buffet looked pretty fresh and tasty, the wife was happy with her selections if a green salad, vegetable casserole (probably the weakest link) fried chicken and a bread pudding dessert choice. I went for the Texas Chilli Cheeseburger. It did not disappoint. My stomach does not do well with beans and I'm happy to say none were present.
