“The chicken marsala was pretty good! Cheesecake was OK, but I've had better. Would prefer a better selection of beers on tap, though the Crux wasn't bad. My wife had the very crumble. It was OK. The server was pretty good, though, I was willing her to look over, in the empty restaurant. Didn't want to do the evil finger snap, but it took her a while to look up.“
“I was Hangry and needed some food. I’d been seeing the Facebook posts for this place for the Broasted Chicken which as a kid I used to love. They also advertised Pan fried Razor Clams on Friday nights which is right up there with my top all time favorites. Having dug and eaten a lot of these Flattened Panko Coated delicacies you learn that if you over cook them they turn into chewy shoe rubber. It was Saturday night and I fully expected to eat chicken. But to my glee they had the Clams on the menu and my decision was made. Long story short. They were perfect. And they were in season Oregon Clams to boot. The flavor was awesome. The texture was perfect. Nice breading. I wasn’t a huge fan of the in house served tartar sauce, it seemed a little too bitter for me. It came with string green beans seasoned with onions and generous bits of bacon. The garlic bread was fresh. There was a huge amount of food for me and I have to try to figure out how to reheat the clams while keeping them soft. It was a very old pub so the ambiance is old pub style. It was clean and orderly. It is broken into two sides. One is the bar. The other for family dining. There are two Handicap parking spaces however actual access into the building is problematic. There are two access points. Both have steps. One is less of a challenge. There is a step between the two sections and to access the bathroom. So folks in wheelchairs may have difficulties. The doorways are old and narrow. There was also a significant change in the ambient temperature to a much colder one as the meal progressed. There was a wall mounted oscillating heat pump unit near the ceiling. Pushing the cold air. The servers were friendly but difficult to catch if I quickly needed something as they were very busy with the bar side. They have a lot of interesting things on the menu and I will likely be back.Wheelchair accessibility: 2 parking spaces. Access to building is challenging.“
“Food is above and beyond normal, service was good, prices are typical, portions were fairly large. They accommodated out large group of 9 with little notice, thankfully it was a weekday morning. Only struggle is that it's a small room with a lot going on, and can be pretty noisy when all the tables are full. Hard to hear each other. In the summer they open up a tented area of the back to increase seating space. That doesn't get quite so loud. Despite my comments about the noise, it's definitely got the perfect feel for the Old Town Sherwood "small town" vibe.Parking: Street parking can be pretty full depending on if it's a weekday or weekend, and if course the time of day.“
“My wife and I stopped in this past weekend for a late lunch in the bar. We could not have been more pleased with the experience. Excellent service, great atmosphere, and good food. The staff was super friendly. We had a great time - wished we could have stayed longer. Alot of similar establishments in the PNW do not come close to Backstop for the level of service and welcoming staff.“
“We started with the loaded brisket fries and they did not disappoint. Everyone dug in and they way we polished them off you would think that we hadnt eaten for a week...they were that good. The brisket sandwich has to be made with some of the best brisket that I have ever had. It was juicy with just enough crunch to make you realize how long it must have smoked for. We also got the Portobello mushroom sandwich which was a big hit. The portions where ample and just thinking about I cant wait to go back.“
“Recommended by a friend and I have to say really great burgers and fries with a really good microbrew selection. Service was also excellent, cool relaxing atmosphere. When I left the place i was thoroughly stuffed and satisfied, could easily have stayed for a few more pints though, likely next time!“
“The food here is the best in west linn for the price. Honestly it even competes with the more upscale restaurants. The only thing that differs is atmosphereIt’s a bar, so it feels like a bar. But the food and drinks are fresh and quality.“
“Found this breakfast spot on Google while driving through Canby. It was a little hard to find but had signs to help. Had the ham and eggs which were amazing! Probably the best ham I've ever had at a diner. Husband had pork chops and eggs and they were delicious. Prices were amazing and the diner was super cute with a 60's diner feel. Would go here again if we are passing through!“
“For a tavern type place this is 5 star. Small and quirky. Funky bar top, a pool table and a pretty diverse set of slots, this is a good midday stop. Cheeseburger, chicken fried steak, onion rings and tots were all good. Will swing by again when we are in the area.“
“My family and I have been going here for 7 years now and feel the same as day one. The crew has always been friendly and the food is great. Never come home with left overs haha. Great beer selection I recommend the piney. Keep this place alive support Ancestry Brewing!“
“I'm not normally in this area, but I happened to be driving through on Easter Sunday. My friend and I were looking for a local (not a chain) place to stop for breakfast. Generations popped up on the map, so we tried it out.The food was tasty and the portions were filling. The coffee tasted fresh, not burnt, or stale. Our waiter was friendly and gave us his opinion about the best things on the menu. If I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely stop back by.“
“Used Google to search for Family Diner while out driving around and this sounded interesting. When I got there I realized that it was the restaurant for the golf club at the sprawling Woodburn retirement Village which has been in existence for decades. I was hungry and went in anyway. Standard American faire is actually somewhat difficult to find in Woodburn. The staff is friendly. And the view is of the golf course. The decor is sort of a country cottage style. They only are open until mid afternoon. There was a full menu choice. Of breakfasts, sandwiches, burgers, and grill items. I chose the braised Tenderloin in gravy over egg noodles. It came with a green salad or house soup. The salad I received was fresh and crispy. It was garnished with some canned beets and shredded cheese. The blue cheese dressing was fine. I noticed that several tables that came in after me had already received their food. They had ordered breakfast items and burgers. I asked and the wait staff curtly responded that “it’s still cooking sir”. I can only surmise that the item I ordered was not standard and took a little more time to prepare. I did not time it but it felt like it took too long. When it arrived it was steaming hot and well cooked. There was a dollop of sour cream on top to mix in if I chose to. The serving size was large the beef chunks were plenty and flavorful. I did feel that the meat was just a little bit chewy. Sirloin can be that way. The noodles were fine. There was a mix of customers but obviously catering towards the retirement community. There were return customers because some of the wait staff were giving customers hugs as they were leaving. The pricing was actually quite reasonable. I do think that I would go back again given the opportunity. As a side note. I had a large amount of take home. So I sautéed some mushrooms and onions and added it to the mix then put in some Hungarian Paprika and it turned out pretty good.Parking: Several Handicap parking spaces but in a retirement community they may be all occupied during busy meal timesWheelchair accessibility: Double front doors but not automatic.“
“Fish and chips was ‘wild cod’ but could have been typical haddock—couldn’t tell a difference. Good and tasty portion of coleslaw. Fries were ok. Not enough tartar sauce or ketchup. Blackened salmon salad was too spicy for my wife’s taste. Burgers were overcooked—asked for medium rare and more like medium-well. Pot pie should have bottom crust, not enough with just a top crust. Overall good though.“
“I'm a sucker for mini-golf, but when there's one out in Tualatin that has courses based on famous golf courses, you bet I'll be there! So, my husband and I drove an hour to the golf club and were amazed at how well-maintained the property was. We went on a Friday late morning, and the parking lot was a little full, but not overcrowded. The staff members were welcoming, and since it was our first time there, they showed us where to go for the courses. When I found out it was only $6 per person, I couldn't believe it! That's the best pricing I've ever had for 18 rounds of mini-golf.Mind you, these aren't your normal spinning lighthouses or a hippo with its mouth open. These are famous golf courses that have shrunk to, well, mini-sized. I'd suggest these courses are more of a medium level of difficulty. The courses are well-maintained and clean, and you understand where to go. There are benches around to kick back and view the scenery. It's quiet and peaceful.I will commute that hour to come out here more often. I highly recommend it! Tualatin Island Greens will be added to my list of activities to have a good time.“
“We were in the area and looking for a breakfast place. We had a great experience here. We will definitely be back when in the area. Casual environment with friendly employees. Menu is straightforward and reasonable prices. Food was good and seemed fresh.“
“Beautiful place. Great food. I didn’t eat all of my salad and asked for a “to go box”. Not only did they bring me a box, they brought me a made salad, with a side of dressing so I could have a fresh salad tomorrow “not soggy left overs.” Such a small act of kindness will leave a mark forever. My family and I will be back, many times.“
“Decided to check a new spot outside of our normal area and the Wild Hare did not disappoint. Stepping inside, we were greeted by a warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and the enticing aroma of home-cooked food. The menu features classic country fare, with everything made from scratch using fresh, local ingredients. From juicy steaks and golden fried onion rings and delectable homemade pies, there's something to satisfy every craving. The portions are generous, and the staff was very attentive. If you're looking for a delicious and heartwarming dining experience, this country restaurant is a must-visit.“
“This is a hidden gem that deserves a visit. The food is always fresh and it does have a full bar which is nice. We have eaten here or gotten it to go over 20 times and not been disappointed. Cindy the owner is present and ready to take care of you!“

“Memorial service for Jerry Sterns. Large group of people, but they managed to transfer from the service to setting up tables for eating. Two lines that moved quickly and the food tasted good as well as pleasing to the eye. Tony Baker was in charge and had many helpers. Job well done.“
“We bought tickets for their St Patricks Day evening and had SO much fun! The event was restricted to guests age 21+ which was the perfect way to experience all the activities. We started with two rounds on the go karts, then played arcade games and air hockey, then laser tag, then went back outside for the zipline, bumper boats, and mini golf, and ended our time with bowling.Included with our ticket was one beverage and unlimited pizza from their pizza bar, which did include two vegetarian-friendly options. Overall, we were quite pleased with our experience and look forward to returning for another 21+ event in the future. Thanks Bullwinkles!“
“Always a great time at Lil' Cooperstown, it's a beautiful thing all around!Vegetarian options: My cauliflower appetizer was awesome!Dietary restrictions: Something for any diet, no worries.Parking: Plenty of parking, right in the heart of town.“
“Wow: this place is amazing. Service providers from bartender to table: friendly, knowledgeable, & professional. Wil was great and created a fantastic guest experience.Don’t miss out on booking your next dining experience here. BTW, the French onion soup was exceptional!!! ???❤️Parking: Easy and plentiful parking options“
“Visiting from out of town for a wedding and stopped by the Endzone for drinks and dinner. Both waitresses were SO sweet, fun, and attentive. The fish and chips were very good and our salads had lots of toppings! It's got a classic sports bar feel with slot machines and music. We had a nice time and enjoyed the food/drinks.“
“Went to listen to Bart, Clark and Steve for Elton John and Billy Joel night. Bought 2 tickets ahead of time. Unfortunately the other person couldn't make, however there were not 2 seats together where you could see the musicians, when I walked in. Was oversold. 2 people were standing. If you're going to sell tickets, make sure there are enough seats for the people to sit together. Perhaps reserve seats for people, and make sure there's seating at the same table for the size of the party that makes reservations. Otherwise, sell less. Flatbread was good, dessert was very good. Music was great! Good to know I can make a reservation. Will do that next time! Will definitely return, and call ahead.“
“I would give this place like 1 or 2 stars cause the wait was soooo long (it was 58 minutes from the time we arrived to the time we got our food) but our customer experience was FABULOUS and our waitress was so amiable and kind! It’s definitely a staffing problem so it wasn’t her fault, she gave us free sodas for the wait time and was checking in on us so much! Also the fried chicken tenders were DELOOOSIOUS ???“
“Biscuits have always been pretty good. The West Linn Biscuits Meat Lovers Omelet was loaded vs the OC Biscuits. But the OC is also very good. Just noticed it was better at this location. Always depends on the cook on duty. The biscuits were soft and dreamy, bacon crisp just like we asked. Overall a very nice breakfast!Service could have been slightly better with coffee (asked twice) and getting us the bill quickly after we said no to extra coffee and asked for to-go box. But still not bad service by no means, just could be a tad more quicker. We will definitely come back here.“
“What an incredible meal! The food was absolutely delicious but the highlight truly was the service -- the bartender, Michael was knowledgeable, funny, and so on top of everything for everyone sitting at the bar. I went with a friend for a fun day out and can't wait to go back with my husband for a date night! Highly recommend the fish and chips, the house made tartar sauce is incredible!“
