“The food and drinks are typically good, considering that there's so much ground to cover when serving it in a place that large. I've watched our meals take complete tours of the premises before landing at our table . We keep going back though, so it must be good!“
“Excellent service and such savory dishes. Has long been a huge favorite and to think it's nearly 30 years old. Everything is done with an intention for a guest to enjoy the experience and the food. It's an Oregon classic in every way, and still maintains its freshness.!“
“Always exceptional food, wine, service, and ambience. While we thoroughly enjoyed the new (pared down) Sunshine menu, if it's your first time try the Mushroom Madness or Omakase which are still available and not to be missed. We make it a point to come twice a year and always look forward to the next time. Levi is a skilled and personable sommelier and Chef is outstanding at his craft.“
“Stopped here for lunch with my Sister and Sister in law.Nice quiet little Cafe in Lafayette, OR. I ordered the Pork Belly Tacos, which I highly recommend. They were delicious. The Service was a bit slow, but the food more then makes up for it, as well as the friendly atmosphere.“
“Our college baseball team recently placed a very large order for 38 burritos. Dos Mundos was very pleasant to work with and able to accommodate our request to have them ready for pickup at 1:30pm on a few hours notice. The players felt they were very much superior and more flavorful to those they've eaten at famous chain restaurants.“
“UPDATE: Sad to say that the food has gobe downhill since we firat started going there. For a $200.00 dinner it just fell flat. There was a chickpea "casserole" that turned out to be chickpeas kinda molded into a square with a bit of liquid and some seasoning. My partner had the duck loin and in my estimation was not even cooked. With that beautiful wood fired oven it should have been phenomenal. Maybe the lunch menu was better. We will try that soon. But Jory, find your fun again please.OMG. This is the perfect place for an upscale dinner or lunch. Everything is prepared with perfect detail. Best truffle fries in the valley. And drinks are top shelf. Try some of the homemade pickles and you will be hooked. What a beautiful place to go when the world has become too crazy“
“Food was creative and excellent. Better than we expected. We did the wine pairing so we could explore more regional wines. Some wines were very good, but the syrah for the beef course was just too ripe and unstructured for our tastes. We'd love it if we could choose between a standard/intro wine pairing, and perhaps a more ambitious wine pairing. It's a small place, but perhaps they could offer that with the caveat that unless four people opt in, they will provide the standard option. Even so, it was totally worth it. Lovely service and wonderful experience, thank you!“
“My family and I came here for Sunday brunch. We were all impressed with both the food and the service. My son said that the eggs Benedict was the best he has ever had. I heard good things about the fish and chips, and even though that would not be my normal go to, I went for it. It did not disappoint…the batter and the halibut were perfect. Great owners, staff & excellent food. What a gem!“
“A pleasant retro diner type eating area, really great ice creams, and several very tempting burger choices. The burgers were large and perfectly cooked, the BLT had perfect bacon. Definitely, we will return to this restaurant. The price point was very affordable compared to others we've been to lately.“
“There were 3 of us. We wanted to taste much more. We shared 2 dishes and one appetizer .Spring Rolls, beef salad and seafood curry fettuccine. All were tasty, well made delights!!! Definitely worth a the $$ and pleasure experience for our tasting.“
“J's may have the most eclectic Menu in town. Known mostly for breakfast, lunch and dinner dont disappoint. Bartender Tom is a staple for quality drinks and good humor. want to get set back on your bottom, order his drink "kryptonite" ( night night)Parking: plenty of handicapp space. well lit for night safety. in the event you shouldnt drive, there is a hotel right across the parking lot Holiday inn for your staycation“
“Used Google to search for Family Diner while out driving around and this sounded interesting. When I got there I realized that it was the restaurant for the golf club at the sprawling Woodburn retirement Village which has been in existence for decades. I was hungry and went in anyway. Standard American faire is actually somewhat difficult to find in Woodburn. The staff is friendly. And the view is of the golf course. The decor is sort of a country cottage style. They only are open until mid afternoon. There was a full menu choice. Of breakfasts, sandwiches, burgers, and grill items. I chose the braised Tenderloin in gravy over egg noodles. It came with a green salad or house soup. The salad I received was fresh and crispy. It was garnished with some canned beets and shredded cheese. The blue cheese dressing was fine. I noticed that several tables that came in after me had already received their food. They had ordered breakfast items and burgers. I asked and the wait staff curtly responded that “it’s still cooking sir”. I can only surmise that the item I ordered was not standard and took a little more time to prepare. I did not time it but it felt like it took too long. When it arrived it was steaming hot and well cooked. There was a dollop of sour cream on top to mix in if I chose to. The serving size was large the beef chunks were plenty and flavorful. I did feel that the meat was just a little bit chewy. Sirloin can be that way. The noodles were fine. There was a mix of customers but obviously catering towards the retirement community. There were return customers because some of the wait staff were giving customers hugs as they were leaving. The pricing was actually quite reasonable. I do think that I would go back again given the opportunity. As a side note. I had a large amount of take home. So I sautéed some mushrooms and onions and added it to the mix then put in some Hungarian Paprika and it turned out pretty good.Parking: Several Handicap parking spaces but in a retirement community they may be all occupied during busy meal timesWheelchair accessibility: Double front doors but not automatic.“
“We came in for a morning coffee and pastry. Cute little coffee shop with lots of seating, chill atmosphere. Staff was very friendly. - London fog latte (4/5): Great flavor, pretty sweet but delicious. - Berry cinnamon roll (4.5/5): I usually don't like berry flavored, but this pastry was so yummy! Perfect sweetness, doughy, so good.“
“you GUYS, the food here is phenomenal. we had the special, house salad, and spinach artichoke jalapeno dip and i was blown away. you can tell a lot of heart goes into their craft. the service is impeccable and i felt like it was such an intimate, local experience eating here. please check it out.“
“We were invited to join a group of friends at the Harvester Taproom last night. Laughed so hard that our cheeks hurt from the piano guy playing for a couple hours. The Pizza was to die for and Delany the little waitress was spot on taking care of us. Fun times Harvester, hope you do it again next year.“
“I have made a number of orders on Grub Hub. My only complaint is they are not closer to my house. The food is fantastic. Their Pastrami Reuben is to die for. And I swear hey are the only ones that know how to cook Tater Tots. I need to drive the 10 miles from my place to see them in person.“
“Hometown feel with the comedy of cheers. Local entertainment that keep you coming back for more. The bartenders are courteous unless you tell a bad joke j/k and the drinks are poured to please. If you can't have a good time here your out of luck!Parking: There is parking in front of bar and after the neighboring business closes for the day parking is available there as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor“
“My favorite Black Bear Diner location, so far. The bacon cheeseburger salad was HUGE. Definitely a whole meal. The western barbecue burger was perfectly balanced with the veggies and meat ratio. Exactly what I want out of a good diner burger.“
“BBQ is all about the food, and that’s why they get 5 stars from me. If you’re looking for ambiance or overly smiley people, it may not be your thing, but if you’re looking for great BBQ, this is a great spot. Just go early if you want choices because they sell out of stuff (for good reason).“
“We only visit here once a month or so and we go to the lounge to avoid the undead hordes of old people and kids in the main dining room. Highly recommend this little tactic cause the server Rochelle is a super pro who has the patience of 2 and has never messed up a thing.Food is Elmer's food. You already know what that's like. Atmosphere is Elmer's atmosphere minus the olds and kids and plus a couple vlt. Trust me. This is the way“
“This review is for the R/W Tavern, which is located in the back/around the corner from the main restaurant. We love this place. We stop in every few months for years now and the food is always tasty and fresh, the drinks are quality and creative if you're looking for something new, and they're the best at supporting local wineries and breweries on their glass pour lists. Their team is fast and personable. The space has a cool, industrial vibe with awesome custom paintings of the Willamette Valley wine AVAs. Must try food: steak frites and THE BEETS. I daydream about their beets.“
“I really enjoyed this place. They weren't slow on getting food out. Wasn't very loud. Cooked to how we ordered. Very attentive making sure we were topped off on the bottomless fries and float's. It Was a very good birthday dinner.“
“My husband and I dine at Tina's every year for our anniversary. We are always thrilled by the attentive service and the fabulous food. Tonight I had the duck and my husband had the lamb. Both meals were fantastic! The intimate dining room with a two sided fireplace is romantic and elegant yet still comfortable and casual. Our long time favorite restaurant proved itself again.“
