“Nice place to wind down. Management is admirable despite the many challenges running a small-town bar can present. Typically quiet and peaceful but when the moon is out... I mean, people are strange. Be kind and courteous and there is something for everyone here.”
“I love this place. A little over two years ago I got released from jail in Baker City and was not doing well and walked from the jail to this place and was surprised by how amazing the lady working there treated me. helped me to get to a hotel and get a taxi and was a real class act. I really liked the atmosphere and the people there also. I went there the other day and it wasn't the same ambience.”
“We were traveling through and wanted to sit down and eat. The restaurant was very busy, we sat at the bar top. Our bartender/waitress let us know that food was taking a while so she helped us pick out some items that might not take as long (we don’t mind waiting an hour for good food but we wanted to get back on the road.) during our visit we realized there were only two cooks and only two ladies up in the front of house! Wanted to give kudos to everyone, they were upbeat and prompt & the food was delicious. We’ll be back our next trip through when we have more time!”
“Fabulous place to eat! Go for the smoked pork chops alone. The smoking is perfect, subtle anddoesn't overpower the tender, perfectly cooked meat. The teriyaki salmon is also excellent, never overcooked. And the cooking is consistent-we stop here every trip through eastern Oregon. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Eat here- you'll love it. FIVE out of five stars!!!!!”
“What a great place. Friendly with locals. Small tap room that is friendly and fun. But the story is the beer! They have 22 beers on tap and none from large breweries. No food but fun place anyway. I hand the Scottish Ale (7%) and my wife had the Black Flag (11%). Delicious beers. Try it.”
