“This place is anything but subtle. The patrons comment loudly on strangers, as if fishing for information or conversation but not directly confronting. The ladies bathroom is like being stuck inside a Tiffany & Co. gift box. There's a sign hanging from the ceiling which reads "HAPPY F*CKING BIRTHDAY" and, I'm guessing it probably was, though it's impossible to tell how long it has been above, encouraging the birthdays of those below. The bartender was pretty, friendly and served a recommended cider in one of those frosty mugs generally kept inside a freezer. Oh. And an actual Frogger video game. Five Star joint. Definitely.“
“Servers aren’t very friendly. Just want you in and out. The kids food was terrible. Burnt patties on the cheeseburgers and very salty. Tiny portion as well. Better off to get an adult burger and split the plate if you have two younger kids. The two adult burgers were very tasty! Phili one and can’t remember the name of the other. Ask for no salt fries and add the salt yourself. Prices are reasonable.“
“The owners are amazing people! They have hosted so many fundraisers for the community. I don't drink alcohol, but I've come in with friends and family for a few of their events. We've ordered from the Taco Truck next door, which gets delivered to your table! For ADA, there's a slight slope as you come it and only a few tables in the back for lowered seating. The rest of the tables are tall with tall chairs. There is also a gravel area out back that they use for fire pits, corn holes, and the smoker's area.“
“This was my first time at Mac's. The BBQ burger I ordered was basically perfect: fresh-cooked hot; good meat : sauce ratio; and bun toasted to a T. (The one problem was that the onion ring was from too close to the surface of the onion so it was pretty thin and chewy) The seasoned fries exceeded my expectations; dipping sauce is not necessary with spices like that!My server said she was new and yet she provided perfect service: I got everything I needed exactly when I needed it, and I didn't feel like I was being hovered over. The atmosphere was cozy hometown restaurant, and the TVs for sports were not overbearing.Mac's is now my favorite restaurant in Pendleton and I will be recommending it to all of my friends-and-relations!“
