We ordered the chicken teriyaki and Kalbi beef. The meat was ok, not that good. The rice was ok but it was the worst Mac salad I’ve ever had. The noodles were soft and mushy, it tasted soggy with little to no flavor, only a terrible texture. I tried to feed it to my dogs and they didn’t even want it.
Ate oh ate dinner on a Friday night. Friendly staff, food was fresh and tasted great, large portions. I ordered the kalua pork and cabbage, side salad (fresh) and 2 large scoops of rice (instead of salad you can get Mac salad). You order at the counter and they serve you at the table you select. They also have Maui Brewing POG hard seltzer, which was fresh and tasted great. They have nice decorations, staff was friendly and kind. Prices were very reasonable. Great to have Hawaiian style food when you can't get to Hawaii. They do have a large outdoor seating area. Beaverton location means parking can be challenging.

Worst Hawaiian food in Portland. Spend your money elsewhere.
Bamboo groove, 808 grinds, Nohos all have better flavor.
Hard pass on the kalua pig. About as bland as it can possibly be. When paired with plain white rice and plain Mac salad you get a world of meh. Other dishes have been good here but skip over this one.

Poke bowl was terrible… it had about 10 small pieces of fish. Such a rip-off for $18

Holy tolito Batman my experience here was A1! It was my birthday but I don’t think the service would’ve change if Jayden (maybe Jaiden) and Robert didn’t know it was my birthday because from the moment I stepped in for the first time the vibes and greetings were so welcoming and chill! The place was clean with great music and great friendly service ! Like the staff and chefs need to be paid more with how good everything was ! I am definitely coming back here in two weeks when I get paid again Lolol this will be my little treat to myself whenever I can ! I also got SO MUCH food for less that $20. Again thankyou Jaiden(Jayden) and Robert and the chefs in the back for making this day and experience so effing fantastic ! Will 10 out of 10 recommend to everyone I know !

Pros: friendly staff, nice ambiance, mac salad and rice are not bad
Cons: first time in my life I've ever eaten *dry* shoyu chicken. Not intentionally dry, but that it dried out with reheating. It was also kind of bland - which is remarkable since shoyu chicken is hard to make bland. I'm guessing reheating dulled the flavors. My mother had the kalua pork and cabbage and said hers tasted kind of old as well.
