Small portions and long wait for a waffle.
I was asked at the register if I wanted white or dark meat so I was expecting a breast and wing with my waffle and I got two chicken strips.
The chicken was good but not what I was expecting especially for $15.00

I feel as if the reviews for this place were either paid for or they don’t have a single taste bud left in their mouth.
The service was terrible and very inefficient, the person at the counter was ok. A 45 minute wait for two frozen hash browns that were not cooked all the way through and the very underwhelming Mac Daddy that looked like SpongeBob on dry land and tasted as such.
The sausage gravy and biscuit was mediocre at best it honestly tasted like one of those dehydrated meals for camping, not like a high end one but like a super budget one.
Annnndddddd this brings us to the Belgian waffle, just how do you fail at the one thing you should be good at. Highly disappointed very dry as everything else was.
I’m very surprised by the 4.5 rating again seems fishy for such terrible food. I hope you guys can clean your act up and make the necessary fixes to make this a place worth coming.

We both ordered the fielders choice for $14.95. Comes with 3 items for that price. I had eggs, sausage and waffle. Hubs had eggs, CHICKEN, and waffle. He was charged an additional$2 for the chicken. I was told the upchg is because others are ordering waffle and 2 pieces of chicken. Therefore costing the restaurant $. They did refund the $2 but they were not happy about it. 2 bucks is not going to kill me, but slipping an upcharge on my bill without me knowing is just not right. How many others has this happened to? Nice way to build profits.

Okay what is this... staff nice, but can get the waffle at a Holiday Inn breakfast. The hashbrowns are from Cash&Carry or restaurant food service. Oh bathroom please, where was it? One and done.
Worst experience ever. Waited an hour for my take out food and watched as order after order of people who came in after me got their food. Talked to the manager, he didn't offer any partial compensation just said that is "how the tickets came out." Spent $80. Used to come a lot. Never coming here again.
Got the food home and they didn't include any strawberries or whipped cream we ordered, the sausage patty was raw, and the waffles overdone. Really great job guys. Total failure.

Ordered food through DoorDash and it was the absolute worst delivery I have ever had. The food was disgustingly undercooked, my scrambled eggs were still raw in the middle (how do you mess up scrambled eggs?!), my partner ordered eggs over medium and they came over easy, and my biscuits and gravy didn’t have any gravy! How do you forget a main component to a dish that has only 3-4 items? I was excited to try your food because of the numerous good reviews but this was the absolute worst experience I have had.
A few friends and I get together every couple weeks or so to have breakfast, a couple drinks, and to sit around and chat for a while. We’re always looking for a new place to try and a Facebook friend mentioned this place in a post which is what drew my attention here. I didn’t really do much research ahead of time other than to give the menu a glance to see what kind of food & beverages they serve, and what time they opened. So the fact that it wasn’t really the kind of place we were looking for is on me. Anyway, it’s essentially a fast food style restaurant that serves home-cooked food. It’s 100%self-serve in that you order at the counter, pick up your food at the counter, get your own water, coffee, and soft drinks, and bus your own table when you leave. There are also no shades in the windows and when we were there at about 9 AM the sun was blazing in the windows and if you were facing toward a window it was quite annoying. Regarding the food, the person taking our orders informed us that everything they make is prepared from scratch. I had the country fried steak and so did another member of our party. It was very tasty and everything was perfectly cooked, but both of our steaks had a lot of gristle and were quite chewy, and could have used another trip or two through the tenderizer. I had a waffle on the side, and it was delicious, but was not warm enough to melt butter even though I picked it up as soon as they called out that our food was ready. I don’t remember what the other two members of our party had but they both said their food was very good. Bottom line – I think it’s fair to say that overall, the food here is very good, but overpriced given the fact that it’s 100% self serve. I think this place has the potential to be a great place with a few minor changes to improve the atmosphere.
I have no idea how other people are rating this place so high?! Do people not have taste buds or eyes?? I would have rather gone to Shari’s and they’re shut down.. $15+ per meal for the most bland tasting waffle sandwich ever. Came with a frozen microwaved McDonald’s looking hashbrown. Girlfriend got another sandwich which was underwhelming and on top of that they charged $3 extra for fries. There is no atmosphere, very generic and cheap looking decor. Have to ask for a key to go outside and use the bathroom. Doesn’t seem like they care all that much. Wouldn’t go here if I lived in the apartment building that’s attached.

Misleading menu for Fielder's Choice says choose any 3 items for 14.75. Chicken, waffles, and eggs are listed as choices. But if you order chicken, waffles, and eggs, they charge you for chicken + waffles (12.75) plus a side of eggs (4.00), "because chicken and waffles is its own menu item."
Parking: Very limited parking, had to walk far in the rain.
Changing my review to 4 stars instead of 5 because they always have their delivery option turned off. I have a son with disabilities, so it's hard to go out to public places sometimes. So many times that I have checked, their delivery option and is turned off. Very disappointing.

I guess I wasn't sure what to expect, but I expected a little more. Food was good but nothing to get too excited over. It's a tasty place to hit up if you're in the area for sure. Be prepared for a small seating and ordering area, which is a little daunting when you 1st visit.
