I don't think this place deserves all the hateful reviews it gets. This is Oregon, not South Carolina or Texas. Oregon in general lacks diversity of food choices, so you'll be hard pressed to find better BBQ unless you want to drive miles and miles away. As someone who had a dad from Louisiana, flavor is important to me. Dickey's will give you a BBQ fix if you need it, and at a decent pricepoint for PDX. Is Dickey's the best? Heck no, but it is definitely not...
Great BBQ spot! Brisket and pulled pork sandwiches were great, some of the best we've had since moving to Oregon. Took a bit of time to place an order due to tons of online orders but we didn't mind the wait for a Saturday afternoon. Everyone working was super nice and helped with the ordering process since it was our first time there. Will definitely go again.
