I really loved this donut shop, been coming for years. Best one outside of portland..... BUT, quality and service have really gone downhill. I've tried coming in at a variety of times, right at opening, 30 min later, hour, 1.5 hours later. For the past 6 months, they almost never have any fancy donuts in their display case. I thought it was because they've sold out of them by the time I get there, but nope, they just aren't making them anymore. Twice I've come in and nothing out in the display, but when I asked, the owner said he had cinnamon twist, roll, and apple fritters in the back. What is the point in keeping them in the back? The variety of the fritters is why I come, especially the pineapple one. Since they dont seem to make them anymore or make enough, I'll probably stop coming since my partner likes Boston creams and I can get those anywhere. Plus, the owner is very short and rude and was too busy on his Bluetooth on a phone call to fully listen to my order. He kept getting short with me when I wanted to order more than just one donut. If he had focused on me fully, he would have known I wanted a few.

This donut shop is such a gem in our town! They have an awesome selection with lots of unique and interesting flavors — definitely not your average donut spot. I especially love that they offer so many fruity options, which can be hard to find elsewhere!

The staff is always friendly and efficient, and I’m usually in and out with my order in no time. It’s the perfect place to grab a quick treat that never disappoints. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something fun, fresh, and delicious!

Small business, you never know what you’re going to get when you walk in but generally the service is friendly. The donuts are incredible though. Truly the best I’ve had in this area and I keep coming back. Cannot recommend them enough. Give them a try. Their fritters and maple bars are top notch. Light and airy but still filling and reasonably priced.

Donut Day: A Sweet Stop With Big Flavor Variety

If you’re a donut lover, Donut Day is a must-visit. They’ve got an impressive variety of donuts and fritters, but the real standouts are the Boston cream and the German chocolate—rich, indulgent, and absolutely delicious. Whether you’re into classic flavors or looking to try something new, there’s always something fresh and satisfying in the case. It’s the kind of place that makes it hard to pick just one (and you probably won’t).

Chocolate cake donut holes- very good. Would definitely get again.
Dutch Apple fritter- not glazed. Maple frosting. Very good apple flavor. Overall delicious, would get again.
Maple bar- very soft donut. Sweet maple glaze. Very very good. Would get again.

Unimpressed. The room was cold which made the doughnuts cold....should be at least room temp (which it was, but normal room temp). The older lady that helped me did not seem happy to be there, or happy that I was there...just how I felt. Lastly, the doughnuts had a slightly bitter taste. I've had other doughnuts with this type of recipe and have never been impressed, I expect a slightly more sweet base recipe. That and they were cold was unimpressive. Won't come here again, not sure why they have a 4.5+ star rating, maybe management has changed or something.

Donut Day is hands down the best donut shop around! As a donut enthusiast, I’ve tried countless places, but this little hole-in-the-wall on SW Tualatin Valley Hwy takes the crown. The donuts are always fresh, soft, and perfectly made. Their glazed donuts practically melt in your mouth, and the maple bars are pure perfection.

The shop has this cozy, unpretentious vibe that makes you feel like you’ve discovered a true hidden gem. The owners are friendly, and you can tell they put so much care into every batch. Plus, the prices are great for the quality you’re getting. If you’re serious about donuts, this is the spot to go. Trust me, once you’ve had Donut Day, no other donut will compare!

I bought half a dozen donuts and some donut holes. I was disappointed and disgusted with the Espresso and Cream donut. Not only did it not taste like espresso, but it also had hair in it!!! 🤮 This was my first time trying this place, and it will be my last. I was almost done eating my donut, and before I took the last bite, I looked down and saw a piece of white hair in the donut. It had resistance as I pulled it out and saw that it was actually longer than what I initially saw. What a waste of money and food because my family and I will not be eating the rest of the donuts I bought.

They gave us fresh apple fritters this morning. They were still warm. It was probably the best apple fritter I've had in my life.
