Very excellent! We had the meat Mezze and both the chicken and lamb sharma were moist and flavorful. Their homemade pita bread was outstanding particularly with the hummus. We added a side of baba ghanosh and it was great with the pita. Even the rice was memorable. Nice people. Check it out.
It's nice to be able to eat out and decided to take a friend to Karam. It was my favorite in Portland, haven't tried the Beaverton location, except to take out the fine desserts. I wanted to use the Groupon but didn't see the fine print it was Mon-Fri only, so will need to come back during a weekday probably for a take out during work. I wasn't greeted as I walked in, and it was empty. I grabbed a menu and reserved a table for a friend and decided on the menu. I ordered a vegetarian...read full review

The food here is DELICIOUS!! I grew up eating shawarmas in India and this place is the first I've found in the US that comes anywhere close. It is so authentic and tastes like home cooked food! The family that owns it is so kind!! I wanted garlic sauce and they were out and the sweet, precious older lady went out of her way to make some fresh for me. I highly recommend this place!!
