My favorite part of my experience was waiting in line and seeing the owner's interaction with all of her customers. She was so lovely and also efficient and great at communicating wait times. I got the death row plate for $28 and it was out of this world. With that one order you get one scoop of mac salad, 2 scoops rice, a hefty and generous portion of hurrikane chicken and korean fried chicken as well as more than 8 oz of spicy ahi poke. Great food, friendly staff (if you aren't preoccupied on your phone), and great food. I grabbed the garlic shrimp/hurikane chicken combo. Great food with generous portions, my photos do not do it justice. Be prepared for a wait, and don't be on your phone at the front of the line.

I will be back again for a different meat selection, might bring a friend and go Kanaka Nui.

Ok.. so I just ate here for the first time and im kicking myself for not making it happen sooner. First of all, the food is delicious! Second, it was really quick to get my order. And 3rd the person working there was super cool.

There's a few things I need to say:
1.If more food places on the west side of the river were like Hina's, nobody would drive to Portland east side for food.
2. Hina's puts the MAC in SMACKDOWN, because...
