First time going there..Ordered the veggie falafel wrap.. It was dry and very salty. Big chunks of falafel and very little sauce.. Coke was flat..They had just opened and tables were dirty. won’t be going back..

horrible. worse than mediocre.
the fact that this place has over 4* on Maps is absolutely mind boggling.
I remember coming here many years ago and I forgot what I even ordered but I remember it wasn't great. but I thought I'd give it another chance. what a mistake.
we ordered the fried cauliflower, lamb shawarma platter, and a falafel wrap.
nothing was good.
the fried cauliflower was probably the best part, but even that had a very strong oily/greasy sort of taste and texture. B- at best.
the falafel wasn't horrible, but the taste just wasn't there. just bland and sad. C+.
and then the shawarma. holy Christ this was bad. I don't know if Lebanese shawarma is different from other shawarma, but if it's like this, I feel sorry for the entire population of Lebanon. all other lamb shawarma I've had has been nice and tender with a rich flavor. this one was the complete opposite. the meat was incredibly chewy and gristly and had hardly any flavor. I'm not going to say it was completely inedible, but it was damn close. the hummus tasted like generic supermarket hummus, and the rice was probably the only decent part of the entire dish. just shameful, honestly. a D at best.
thank God I bought my meal here with a coupon so that the pain of eating this meal was lessened a bit.
absolutely never eating here again.

Got for lunch for the first time today. Dip sampler, beef pie, Kafta wrap. Everything was bursting with flavor, the baba ghanoush was excellent

Really greasy shawarma wraps. It's just not good at all. The staff were nice. The restaurant was unkempt with grime on the tables and food on the floor. It was not busy, and there is no reason it would have been like that. I will not be returning.

In fairness, the owners are long-time friends.
But, married into the culture, I know the good food, and Karam's has it!
Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegan and gluten-free options.

I visited this restaurant for family celebration before I got married! My relatives own this restaurant & welcomed me & my new family to come and enjoy their company & of course some wonderful Lebanese food! I always recommend new friends & clients to try this restaurant out! And I must say Karam deli is the best place to have authentic lebanese food..it gives u the feel of visiting the actually country in Lebanon!

I ordered a veggie platter which had tabouli, 2 falafels, hummus, 2 dolmas, and tzatziki sauce. I added a gluten free naan which I had before and it had been good. This time the naan was hard. I took it back to the counter and he had the waitress bring another one to me. It was more chewy than the last time I had it on a previous visit, chewy almost hard but not as hard as the first that one they served. No one came back to check and see if it was ok. The food was ok other than that, not as flavorful as other places I’ve eaten

I did give this establishment a second try, but unfortunately, I was disappointed . The food itself is not bad. It deserves the 3 stars i have it. Although this joint is a deli, the prices are more like restaurants. They charge different amounts depending on how you decide to pay. It's too complicated for my taste. I asked the only worker to help me with the self ordering machine there, she ignored my request twice. Later, she told me that she was the only one working there and it was more important to clean up an empty table than help me. I would not be frequenting this establishment anymore, which is a shame because the food had potential. I wish them the best of luck.

I have given the Karam at the university district 1 star. But this one has good reviews. It's clean, it is slightly small inside seating area but not cramped at all.
The guy was very helpful and answered all our questions with clarity. The hummus was good, the little chocolate vanilla pastry was tasty, the falafel was soft and fresh. And my favorite the Turkish coffee was good.
Vegetarian options: It's Middle Eastern food, so there are some core offerings. The menu was labeled well to prevent any confusion or risk.
