This was a pretty terrible experience. They make you sign in on the tablet. The wait time was around 30 min but 15 min in they tell you to check in with the host. The host then tells you to wait outside for your name to be called. Which he doesn’t even scream the name and just quietly mumbles. There were a lot of parties outside waiting but not a single persons name got called . Then 20 min later we got a text saying we have been removed from the waitlist due to missing our reservation. We then have to track down the host to question this. Just terrible terrible service before we’ve even eaten. This is understandable if the place was packed. But there were 10-12 tables and seats open. While we all stood in the freezing cold. This is a terrible system. Was the food worth it? No… overpriced for 4 dollars a plate. The portion is the smallest I’ve ever had. I’ve had kura in Japan and this is such a let down. The sushi itself isn’t fresh and there are much better options in Beaverton or Tigard where you’re getting high quality sushi that is a much better price. Overall I think this place is messy, slow, and just not worth it at all. If the food was amazing then I would be more forgiving of the messy host situtation.

It’s a great place and a fun way to eat sushi! Fish was fresh. It can get really busy, join their waitlist on their app before you go. Or go right when they open and join the waitlist onsite.

The sushi is low quality and overpriced. It’s not very tasty and seems like it’s rushed. None of the rolls I had were good. The soup was bland. As a party of four none of us were satisfied. The only cool thing about it is the sushi belt being modern. Don’t believe the hype!!

We went to Kura Sushi in Beaverton for lunch - a fun, authentic Japanese style rotating sushi restaurant with digital menus, gashapon, robots that serve your drinks and water, a slot where you toss your plates for counting, etc.

We really liked it! We gave it 8.5/10 for good, fresh nigiri and rolls, fresh, rice, wasabi, and ginger, strong green tea, and even taiyaki with red beans paste and ice cream on the dessert menu. Sushi was on the small side, a little pricey for what you get at $3.95 a plate, which is sometimes a 3-piece roll or one piece of nigiri. $93 for two for lunch was a little high. Overall, we enjoyed the delightful service, the large variety of choices, and had a tasty lunch! We will be back!

We were excited to try this place, but left disappointed. The food wasn't bad, but each plate is $3.95 and the portions are very small. The hype and gimmicks didn't justify the bill.

Arrived and got seated at the table to find out the little dishes were not clean and had spicy mayo underneath it. Food was decent, some of the dishes are a straight up rip off for nearly $2 a bite lol. The pictures advertised on the menu are not to scale, realistically you get much thinner pieces than what you see. A few of the dishes were really good such as Takoyaki and cream cheese Eel. As for the calamari dish, I got 4 peppers with it…? 🤣 Overall not worth it for what you pay and is only worth experiencing once. I finished 16 dishes and got my “prize” 🙂. You can get better value for your money somewhere else.

What a fun place to get sushi. Pre-Covid we would go to revolving sushi places, then the shutdown happened and we thought that was the end of revolving sushi, but it’s back baby! They have a nice cover on each dish. The robot drink server was a hoot too. Even a bidet in the restroom.

Food was good. Quality is on par with Japanese 100 yen conveyer belt sushi.
Only complaint Tamago was still frozen when served for lunch.

Food could’ve been better, Oregon has better options out there. Sushi is a 3/5 for me. Service could’ve been better too.

Great prices, amazingly fresh foods, fantastic atmosphere, and cool robots that bring you your drinks!

Vegetarian options: Staff is very open to food allergies and is happy to accommodate

Parking: The business is in a shared shopping mall so parking can be chaotic at times.

Kid-friendliness: Great place to take kids!

Wheelchair accessibility: Looks good to me. Business was recently built from scratch so I would assume they confirmed to all the current ADA requirements. Bathrooms are large enough to fit a large wheel chair no problem!
