Not bad!! I usually get their loco moco but since my partner got that, I got the grilled mahi and that was delicious and filling. Would definitely go back! I also recommend going to Chicha after for boba - same parking lot and a few footsteps away!
We showed up 9 minutes before close and everyone was still super welcoming and kind. The employee and owner check up on us after they closed and we were sitting outside near by and then again as he was driving away. The owner fired the grill back up and cooked great food for us. I read the other reviews and those people tripping. The chicken katsu we got came with a chipotle guac size of sauce, theres more than enough times two, unless hes drinking it, probably why he got weird...

I got the Shoyu Chicken plate today and it did not disappoint. So many other Hawaiian joints serve shredded shoyu. L & L leaves the bone in, and the chicken stays so juicy y’all! Don’t miss out on their bbq sauce or the mac salad either
