Stopped in here after a haircut and was pleasantly surprised to find fantastic food and coffee. I have fairly complex diet needs that are usually hard for a cafe to meet, but these folks did amazing! One of the best coffees I’ve had in a while, and their breakfast sandwich “the unusual” was amazing.Lowkey trying to get my coworkers to come in here now :)

I personally always liked lion heart coffee. We’ve gone to the other location on Farmington a couple of times and never had any issues. We recently began coming to this location since it’s closer to home and been bit disappointed twice by the service. Fortunately the coffee still taste the same but it just seems the baristas here don’t prioritize customer service. It’s normal for customers to ask for a menu (since the other location has one) and because we were looking up the menu on our phones the barista at the counter seemed rather annoyed and was sarcastic with us (which we encountered twice) we felt rushed to make a decision… he then said, “We just have normal coffee things on the menu” and when I asked about what syrups do you have ? He responded sarcastically again, “I can go through the entire menu for you or I can tell you we have some NORMAL coffee syrups like vanilla, caramel, etc” As we were finishing up the transaction, my boyfriend forgot to mention almond milk and had already paid and we would’ve been fine paying the .75 up charge regardless and if it had been a problem, but the barista said it was fine. After the transaction was over they exchanged annoyed faces to one another in regards to a change in alternative milk. Some people have allergy concerns and they shouldn’t be berated for them. This location has made me feel uncomfortable twice because of the baristas failures to meet basic customer service standards of a local coffee shop and I would gladly support other local businesses that will make me feel comfortable, valued, and not a nuisance.

Support this local coffee shop! They are such great baristas. They put a lot of work into making your coffee perfect. Highly recommend the mocha cold brew or a hot white mocha, but if that’s not your cup of tea, they also have that too.

It's not the people, it's the amount of time. If you expect to get anything quickly here, it's not gonna happen. The reason for that is the coffee. It's amazing. But I can commonly wait about 20-25 minutes. And the staff moves at a rate that shows that speed is not the priority. That's great sometimes, aggravating others.

I stopped in for a latte a week ago and it was lukewarm at best, and I didn’t feel like asking them to remake it because the cashier and barista were busy on their phones I didn’t want to bother them. They barely looked up when I ordered. Won’t be stopping here again. I love the other location in downtown Beaverton.

My wife and I have been coming here ever since 2020 and we love coming back every time to get a special coffee drink they are offering for the season. We met the owner the first time we visited and he made our drinks absolutely perfect, not boiling hot, but also not cold, it was just right. So we've been coming here ever since and wanted to shout out to this coffee company.We love their baked goods and their breakfast sandwiches are pretty good! All of the coffee they carry or roast is locally sourced and they picked amazing coffee companies that have a great cause behind each one. Their staff is always super friendly, especially Marcus, Isaac, Hannah, and Jenna. We appreciate the calm but lively vibes inside the shop when we pick up our drinks.We will always support this local business and hope everyone gets a chance to grab a coffee or snack over there at some point!
So, I really want to give this place a five-star rating. I really want to like them but I just can't, because I can't ever get my order fulfilled because they're always out of something: they always are out of whipped cream or some sort of milk or some sort of syrup. In addition, they have never once in the more than 2 years that I've been asking them to try to even think about having peppermint flavoring during some time other than the winter but it doesn't really matter because they're usually out of it during the winter as well.

I use cappuccinos as a test when I got to a new coffee shop because there's more ways to mess one up than not. The baristas here nailed it!It was very rich, the espresso in it was strong but had a lot of flavor, yet it was smooth at the same time. Perfection.The parking is easy, and the service is alright. I'll definitely be coming back!

At first going into the store, I really liked that they display the art on the wall. There were 3 staffs they were just standing, non of them greet the customer. One of the customers ordered a cup of drip coffee and pastry to take out, I overheard the girl staff commended in front of the customer saying ”when they didn’t leave the tips, that’s so rude”. That totally killed my desire to get my order. Won’t recommend just for the service.

Probably one of the best coffees I have had in a while. I wish I lived closed I would visit more. I got an iced white mocha (regular milk) and it was so delicious and frothy somehow!!

Best cardamom lattes and best rose lattes in town. Perfect blend of creamy and coffee AND not too sweet.Ask about their Earl Grey cookies, that with a macchiato or a cortado, chefs kiss!!
