Murray Hill Taphouse is one of our favorite local spots. We first discovered it on DoorDash after a long workday when we were craving a good burger—and it delivered! The food arrived neatly packaged and thoughtfully assembled, which made it clear they really care about quality, even for takeout.

They have a good hamburger sandwich and stakes. Personally, I don't think I really liked the tacos, but that's okay. I'll just order something else next time I come. The atmosphere was really nice, and the people there really liked it.

This was our first visit to Murrayhill Taphouse. A bit of a wait for appetizers and when they arrived; calamari was very chewy (like hard rubber bands) as were the onion rings...tough and overly crunchy, to the point you worry about scratching the roof of your mouth. My mahi mahi fish burgers were overcooked and dry, not what I expected. My grandson's battered hot dogs were deep fried to a very dark, almost black color. Just not even appetizing to look at.
