“This place is phenomenal! I don’t understand how it is not packed all the time. We were looking for a place to get a good steak that was anywhere but Portland, especially downtown. We ran into this on Google. The reviews were great and I’m so happy we checked it out. We got bread, polenta salad, and coconut shrimp for appetizers. All delicious! For the entrées we got a porterhouse and a ribeye steak with mashed potatoes, vegetables, and mushroom risotto. All delicious! The steaks were seasoned and cooked to perfection. For dessert we got a chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. Perfect way to end the meal. This was a celebration dinner so we spent a good amount of money on this meal but they have a great selection of good quality cuts and other great options that aren’t priced as high. Also, the drink menu is extensive. I don’t drink alcohol anymore but they have a non alcoholic menu made with zero proof ingredient's, so I was able to have an old fashioned without the alcohol in it. That was a really nice surprise because I missed the taste of those but couldn’t drink them. I didn’t realize that was even a thing. We will definitely be back to this place in the future! Finally, I would like to mention, Elaine. She was our server. Best in the business! Her customer service was top notch, she was sweet and walked us through menu options when we couldn’t decide, and was extremely knowledgeable on the menu. I honestly wish I could have an “Elaine” at every restaurant I eat at. She made the experience there even better. 10 out of 10, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!“

“Last night's dinner at RC was amazing...as usual!!! Wonderful service, no attitude just nice and helpful people. The food was very tasty. ALL of it served HOT. French Onion soup was yummy. I really did not care too much for the Center Cut steak that was on the monthly special. It was fibrous and a bit tough to slice and chew.. As for desserts....HUGE and DELICIOUS ❤️❤️‼️“

“Really good food, very friendly staff, and really good managers, I definitely recommend Stanford’s in Tanasbourne , everyone needs to come in and try it if you haven’t yet, I recommend the fried calamari and the chimichurri steak tips, they are really really good, save space for dessert and try the chocolate mousse, and make sure to try out the drinks the way is made is all fresh made juices, so if you are in the area make sure to stop by at Stanford’s in Tanasbourne, you will not be disappointed.“

“We went here to celebrate my wife's birthday. Restaurant is not as noisy as many thanks to the high roof above the inside courtyard. Seating was weird (very low relative to the table top) but the food was excellent. We had the 14 oz grain fed NY and the 18oz grain fed Ribeye both medium rare done to perfection. Sadly the aged steak was unavailable. Potatoes were good but were superfluous because the mushroom side dish would have been enough. I had the tomato soup starter and my wife had the marrow. Both were perfect. Wife's desert was complimentary - chocolate mouse with trimmings. Delicious. We brought our own wine worth about $60. Their wine list is mostly high end but their corkage of $35 still gave us a better option than a wine off their list at a comparable price. Service was good although our food did take a bit longer than expected.“

“Service was excellent, our waitress was very attentive, caring and very receptive to all we asked for. The whole wait staff from the moment we entered the establishment to the time we left was very accommodating and cheerful. Food was up to Outback's perfection and we couldn't have enjoyed our dinner more.“

“We sat in the bar and bartender was great but definitely needed help. He had every table full and then a big party(20) people waiting for their table getting drinks…I realize it’s hard to find people to work but you really need two people working in the bar. Thankfully we were patient and didn’t mind, but other people wouldn’t have been. Also the host took his time clearing a table for us…. He visited with another gal doing to go orders for 10 min. “I used to love Black Angus in Vancouver, WA. My experience last night was somewhat disappointing. I guess some of their recipes have changed so the taste of the food left me unhappy. Other people may not feel the same. For me I would suggest having the lobster tail cooked just a bit more, mine was mushy. Also leave off the seasoning pepper on top or whatever it was. Suggestion: Be very specific with what you order and if not happy let them know. One thing I did appreciate, was any sauces, were delivered in individual ramikans.“
