Joy made my daughters Sweet 13 “goth” cake! It was a lemon cake with a raspberry filling. The flavor was delightful, the cake was moist and light. The decoration was SPOT on. Joy brought my vision to life and I didn’t give too much detail- her creative freedom exceeded my expectations and my daughter was in love with it! The cake is a part of her core memory and I’m so thankful I found Joys talent to create this for my official teenager!

We ordered cupcakes from Joy for a Hawaii themed baby shower. They were delicious and so beautiful! Passion fruit flavored icing was over the top good, and pineapple filling made them extra moist and tasty. I recommend her bakery for any event most highly!

Absolutely the best and most beautifully decorated cake I’ve ever ordered. We receive so many compliments on it at the party. Everyone wanted to know where it was from. Joy completely nailed the vision that I had for this cake, including the flavor!

Kid-friendliness: Joy has designed wonderful kids cakes for my family as well. She and is a true creative genius, bringing my kids favorite things to life in cake form.

Everything was amazing!We got a cake and cookies for my daughter’s sweet 16 birthday party, and everything was delicious and so cute! The theme was Hello Kitty and she did the cake and cookies perfect! My daughter was so stoked! The cake was absolutely delicious and so moist! Highly recommend!!!

We ordered unicorn cupcake for my daughter's birthday and it ws beautiful and delicious. Everyone enjoyed her cupcakes and it came out exactly what we asked her to customize. We needed to changed the frosting color at the last minute and she could accommodate our request as well! We'll definitely order more from her.

Joy was fantastic!! She squeezed us in last minute (prompt payment lol) the cake was SO GOOD and looked incredible! She did amazing for my boy's first smash cake!! THANK YOU so much Joy!! I will be coming back to you for all my needs!!**the child is one sign did not come from joy!!**

Joy is an absolute professional - a delight to work with and a masterful creator of scrumptious beauty. She translated my custom request even better than I could imagine and, the cake was, light, flavorful and perfectly balanced on the palate.

Joy was so wonderful to work with. I asked for a "woodland" theme and she offered really cute options. I also loved that I could get quality cookies, cupcakes, AND a cake all through her. Great communication, well-priced, and absolutely delicious.

I ordered customized cookies. They were perfect! Came out delicious & exactly as I pictured. They fit right in with our lumberjack theme. Joy was super sweet and very client focused. Communication was key for me and she definitely delivered! Will absolutely be back in the future.

Joy makes the best cakes and cookies in all of Portland. Her creativity - both in presentation and taste are delightful to both the eyes and the tastebuds. 100% would recommend her cakes and cookies to anyone lucky enough to live in Oregon.

Joy created 2 dozen cookies and 2 dozen cupcakes for a bridal shower with one weeks notice! Everything looked amazing and also tasted great! Would highly recommend using Sweet Joyness Bakery and I will definitely be using again!
