I ordered Poori (deep-fried whole-wheat puffed bread) and the Dal Bowl with chickpea masala (instead of spinach dal) and omitted the tomato and green chutneys. The Poori was extremely oily and crispier than I remember from another Sudra location. The Dal was flavorful, but spicier than I expected for requesting mild.

WOW. Best vegan chicken wings I've had so far. The sauce they used is amazing! I ate them so fast UGH. ? ?? I had been looking for a vegan Indian places for AGES so I was happy to see one exsited ? I also ordered the Tikka Masala dish. It was actually a decent amount of spicy and was pretty good. However I would have liked it to be more creamy & more traditional. But it was still pretty good. I will probably come back and order more wings for sure ahhh Updated from previous review on 2023-03-07
So the caveat to my opening statement is that we went on a weekday at opening for lunch. Maybe nobody was ready for us because the food was cold and not fresh. For that price, someone needs to be doing morning prep, not just pulling leftovers from the fridge. Like others said, the portion sizes were very small, leaving a lot of empty space on the plate. Also, this is Indian fusion, not traditional dishes, so be prepared for interesting ingredients.

A very nice vegan restaurant for Indian food not too far from Portland. It has a simple feel good ambience. You have to use a QR code to check the menu and order online. The food is really good. It's mainly comfort food. The tofu bowls we ordered were really good. They have really good lemonades with tangy flavors too.
Oh wow! Was the food so well prepared, cooked, and presented. The dishes were so tasty.Smokey and flavorful rice with Tempe and julienned veggies had such great texture.Fried broccoli and cauliflower florets were perfectly cooked to be al dente and were paired with tangy coconut and sweet tamarind dipping sauces.Creamy "paneer" tofu and kale with a curry sauce over rice was a pleasant texture change. The flavors were bright and brought the heat! The last dish was a kale infused dosa thali, that had Lentil Tamarind Stew, Chickpea Masala, Ginger Agave Roasted Carrot Salad, Spicy Cucumber Salad, Green Chutney, Tomato Chutney, Coconut Yogurt and Potato Pea Curry. Each part of this dish was so good.Their staff was very attentive and provided excellent service!

Yum yum yummy this food is very delicious! Love the coconut yogurt topping and the flavors are out of this planet. Another to add to your list of must visits.
Wayyy too expensive for portion sizes you get. 16 bucks plus tip for a dinner that left me hungry. Also not authentic Indian food by any means. My meal included falafel, which was the main element btw. So many authentic Indian recipes can be made vegan so easily, idk what they're doing.

This is innovative Indian food ( not a traditional Indian food that uses dairy in most of the dishes). We found later ( after arriving ) that it was vegan resturant . Very good combination of healthy options with salad . Good selection of appetizers. Tofu Paneer options was misleading ( it was Tofu only but cooked to replace Paneer for traditional Indian dish).Customer Service was friendly but working very thin on staff ( one person serving and another at bar) . Drink was served after appetizer and one main entry. Two dishes ( out of four) were served very late.
Vegetarian options: Vegan only
