“Hard to believe I have lived in Portland for 20 years and have never been to the Original Pancake House. Finally did one morning and was really impressed. So many choices it was hard to decide but of course we had to get one dutch baby to try. Everything was so good and the service was stellar. It’s a busy place so expect a wait and it can get quite loud inside with all the people. Those things aside, I can’t wait to go back again and try more of the menu!“

“This place was phenomenal, I came to the food pod on 5tt Ave, and I wanted to try out. You know, variety of things, and then I came across Java Rising Calf. I got their spice apple and OMG, you guys, if you haven't yet, this place is a must try.
Stop their waffles. Which is the base for all their dishes? Was cook to perfection, crispy, golden, and the outside soft, warm, and inside. You mix that up with the spiced. Apple's, the whipped cream, and they have something on top of that whipped crime. I should have asked what it was, but the combination of all those items together just, it was an orgy in my mouth... I forgot I had other foods, I licked the plate, guys.
I dare. to even say I was disappointed at every other food car I tried. I got a lot of food. I came there with a mission, and only one place satisfied my expectations, what I was looking for, right. I pretty much tried about 6 food courts and none of them war satisfactory in both flavor execution, and even though I had it in a togo container. Their Plating, I mean, the way the Sun hit it just right, It was like the holy growl... .it looked like a holograph pier gold, and it's all glory.
Thank you, guys, for being open that day. It was quite the experience, and I can't wait to come back once a week and try the rest of the menu🤩😁🤩😁🤩😁🫰“

“A really awesome little boba shop. With a large selection of delicious drinks. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, joyful and full of energy. The staff are wonderful and nice. We enjoyed their yummy bubble tea. I highly recommend the Okinawa milk tea, taro and avocado smoothies.👍“

“I came for breakfast and got seated promptly by a cordial hostess. The food as always was excellent, however the service wasn't the greatest. The waiter was very nice, however he was too chatty with other tables thus neglecting his service level with his other tables (i.e., me having to ask another waiter for my check or other essential items). He was literally going from table to table chatting beyond a normal limit as if he was Frankie Valli at a Las Vegas party. Thank you chef.“
