One of the Worst in Bend (Plus GREY STEAKS!)
The Good- The reputation of this place for some crazy reason. This was our first time.
The Bad- Everything else. Went on Halloween, was half-full. They gave me and my girlfriend the worst table in the place for some reason. When i asked if we could move we were simply told no. We order drinks which took an inordinate amount of time, and my girlfriend's was so spicy it was undrinkable. Some ratio mistake, no big deal except we never saw our waiter for a long time after that, and it went undrunk. he was also, just in general, rude. then the food comes. the french onion soup was cold with coagulated cheese. No residual warmth even. Again, no waiter to tell. I'd ordered the most expensive thing on the menu, talked to the waiter about the meat temp specifically to make sure we both knew what MID-RARE means...and the beef came out...HAMMERED & WELL DONE. No waiter to tell about it. The carpaccio was unoiled and UNSEASONED, therefore inedible. The extra side of crispy potatoes came out...raw. I mean, the first one I bit into was half-boiled, half raw, and completely uneatable. I was telling the waiter these issues when he returned from his international expedition (one assumes from the timeline) when he LAUGHED at me in front of my partner, and then was basically threatening. When I talked to manager on duty she was at first great, refunded some money and said nice things. I got home and am still fuming from paying over $50 for a ruined, terrible night.
The Tip- We would have been happier at a terrible taco truck, so the only tip here is to avoid the place.

Best burger in town by far!! The bun is absolutely perfect and the quality of the beef is clearly great. Gotta have the crispy fingerling potatoes as your side, with a side of aioli for dipping. Pizza is darn good as well. Such a great happy hour that is consistently delicious.

Tl;dr—phenomenal value. 900 Wall delivers food with quality well beyond the price they charge.
Food—We got the bread & butter(not complimentary, but reasonably priced), sockeye salmon, teres major (rare), and panna cotta for dessert. The bread included what I believe were a mild sourdough and a focaccia, both delicious. The sockeye was cooked well, and the combo with zucchini, chickpea patisse, and fried polenta was fantastic. My wife commented, "They made zucchini taste good." I ordered the teres major rare, and it was cooked as requested, seasoned well, and served atop a delicious bed of shallots, mushrooms, and red wine sauce. It was served with French fries, which is common in most of the world (you can find steak and frites basically everywhere). The fries were crispy and tasted great dipped in the juices from my steak. The panna cotta was a great way to cap off the meal.
Service—Staff were friendly and prompt, but not annoying. I was thankful that they basically allowed us to enjoy our meal. If you want wait staff who incessantly interrupt your meal, perhaps this isn't the restaurant for you.
Atmosphere—In a word, comfortable. If we were seated elsewhere, it may have been too loud. Where we were sat, however, was fine. Didn't feel like I had to raise my voice, nor did I feel I had to lower it. The attire ranged from casual to businessy, which is fitting for the PNW. As long as you don't show up in PJs, you won't feel out of place.

Love the inside of the restaurant. My husband had the salmon and said it was the best dish he's had in the last year. :)
We were visiting Bend and had such a great experience the first time we came back our second night. Everything was amazing, and the food was incredible.

Terrible service. Oysters took 45 min after repeated requests for starters. Poorly timed service. Cocktails were tasty.

THE best happy hour in Bend! I have lived in h re for 20+ years and this has always been go to place. Good food, great pours, and even better bartenders! Will is always (genuinely) happy and attentive - he will never let my glass of ice melt! I recommend…basically everything on the menu! Enjoy!

Tables on the sidewalk (not really a patio) are a commodity- and worth it. Quieter outside. Food has been great both times I've been and service was excellent on last visit. From the Cassoulet to the Charcuterie board to the burger - impressive!

Not at all what I was expecting when it comes to fine dinning or for the rating they have received.
Half the kitchen staff had nothing on their heads except a lot of hair.
No dress code for the dinning or kitchen staff.
Portions are small, food presentation looked thrown together, and way over priced.
Wait staff was polite.
Get there early so you can find parking or you will be walking a few blocks since 900 Wall is on a busy street.
