Sam is the best cook I’ve ever met. I’m devastated to have found this place the last day it was open…. Bittersweet.

You will be disappointed if you come here for tapas or mexican food. The menu has changed to Indian food without changing online. There's no dishes for me to recommend because all of the items don't exist anymore.

Delicious food and drinks. The service was amazing and the atmosphere is comfortable and trendy. Great spot for going out with friends or having a date night.
Incredibly tasty food and friendly staff. They were the only place open after a concert and were happy to have us. And they have a good happy hour deal. Would highly recommend.
The food and atmosphere was outstanding. Definitely recommend the mahi-mahi taco. The bar tender was super friendly and had great recommendations.
Just not that good. Drinks were tiny, the tacos were served on dry corn tortillas (not even any oil!), and the once-amazing Basque cheesecake has become a miniature lemon-flavored nightmare. It was honestly so bad I sent it back. The rebrand of Barrio to “Bar Rio” has not changed the food or dining experience at this establishment for the better.

Great atmosphere, cordial and attentive bartender and servers. Great for an afternoon nosh with unique flavors and bevies to match. Highly recommend
Lame to the game.
Im really sad about how much this place has changed since the last time I was here in 2020. The paella used to be HUGE, loaded with goodies and delicious. The best paella in the PNW, I would dream about it.
But now, its just a shadow of what it used to be, its mediocre at best.
The drinks were very good, some of the tapas still hold up, but I don't understand why they ruined something so great like the paella recipe they once had. Probably never coming back because I was so disappointed... The new paella is dry and tasteless, barely had any ingredients, was mostly rice and very small.
Picture attached is what the paella used to be like, you be the judge.
Classy place for drinks and tapas. Very much enjoyed.
Came here for an early dinner, got seated right away. The tables face the blue bar, the whole place is beautifully decorated. Nice atmosphere. We shared a paella during their happy hour, all tapas including paella $2 off. It was also $10 Wednesday for glasses of wines. The paella starts with rice imported from Spain, house made broth, and sofrito (onion, tomato, garlic, smoked paprika, olive oil & Spanish saffron). It was served in a medium Spanish paella pan, with two corn tortillas. Full of chicken, prawns, and chorizo sausages. Excellent flavor, and it was plenty to share as we had a large lunch. Service was friendly and fast. We will return when we visit Bend again, the menu looked great.
