Probably the worst choice in all of downtown Bend. I've tried a few times and it's always painfully slow to get a sandwich. Today was the worst (and my last time) it wasn't busy and we waited 30 minutes to get 2 sandwiches and 1 soup. After waiting 20 minutes, they told us the soup choice was not available so I chose a different soup. They then brought me cold soup and my sandwich was smothered in mustard. Smothered. Someone likes mustard there? Gross and I won't bother with it again.

I hate to have to post this review as this used to be one of my wife and I’s favorite sandwich shops in Bend. The order taker seemed to be checked out like I was talking but she was somewhere else, I had to repeat my order twice. Not a custom order mind you, a regular Ruben with chips in a drink. Then after entirely too long of a wait for a sandwich shop that wasn’t busy, we got our food and the bread was burnt. Not just overdone, burnt. And let’s talk about size for a second, my sandwich looked to be made using ordinary white sandwich bread, way to small to be the largest size, my wife’s was a small and half of a normal sized white bread sandwich. This place used to be much better managed but has went downhill the last few times we have been here and we won’t be going back. There are too many great options to choose from in Bend to take a risk on this place again.

3 stars for the food - kinda disappointed to be honest - the sandwiches were OK all around - nachos were rough (cheap chips/bland cheese). Meatball sandwich was probably the best of all of them and even then, it was just OK
4 stars for the service - super friendly but took a long time for our order (with a pretty empty restaurant)
5 stars for the atmosphere - super fun surf vibe - bathroom was a disaster but everything else was clean
3 stars for the prices - was hoping for better quality food with the "bend tourist" price

I love Beach Hut Deli! The staff was so friendly and all of the food is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend coming here!
Just ordered two Reubens and am so disappointed. They were dry, and the bread was burned. For 40.00 expected more. They are also getting smaller as time goes on.

Unfortunately, hours aren’t actually the hours. Showed up twice at 6:28 pm and 6:30 pm before a 7 pm close and were turned away to save on labor and closing time. Otherwise, nice spot and ‘okay’ food.
