Service was usual for Bend. The recent remodel made for a more open feel in and outside. Fantastic beer. Food is poor quality. Fish batter isn’t how it use to be. The sides came from freezer bags and salsa cane from a jar.

“We don’t want to seat your party with a server if you are only getting drinks and appetizers” totally get that servers want to make money but it’s a Monday night, when no one is here. If you don’t want to serve people, don’t pick serving as a job. Good beers but purposely didn’t get food for off putting service.

We came here for my husband's 40th Birthday. Food was delicious, service was amazing, and the atmosphere was great. The elk burger was outstanding, as was the panko fish and chips.

Restaurant ran out of what I ordered, but didn’t tell me until all food came out. They were kind about the communication, but were unwilling to swap out and make it right. For a $2 difference they ruined the experience.
Love the vibe they're trying to create. Their service is good, but they are still currently limited in beer options, but I'm sure that will change as they finish fermenting more beers in the back.

The burger was bland with a burned bun, the chicken sandwich had more flavor but the lettuce was old and there was a Bread Tag IN the burger. The tots and fries were over done and also had no seasoning. Extremely disappointing and gross that they could somehow end up putting a big piece of plastic inside the sandwich.

Fish and chips should be called fish nuggets (see photo). 1/2 order, tiny pieces of fish and cold fries. Fish tacos, cold and brittle. Waitress was good and brought fresh hot fries. Beer menu is dominated by IPAs, although very good, I was glad to see a Porter. We’ve been visiting BBC for probably 15 years now and each visit is less enjoyable and more expensive.
