Big O Bagel used to have big portions but recently they have used less and less on each order. I got an eye opener with cream cheese for $1 extra and avocado for $1.50 extra but I can’t even taste them.
Pretty disappointing to see one of my favorite places drop in quality.

Everything was delicious! My only complaint was that things moved very slowly and I waited about 20-30 minutes before receiving my order.

Wildly disappointed and will not be returning. I ordered online at 9:46 am and walked out without my food at 10:15 because I was now late for my appointment. I had many other customers who ordered in the store and long after me. The online order employee was about as slow as I’ve seen someone move and did not care. I was a big fan and a frequent customer and now will no longer be supporting this location.

I really like the sandwiches and bagels but the last few times I've been there they were out of most bagels and often out of some of the ingredients for the sandwiches. This has happened at lunchtime. Someone needs to up the inventory. Otherwise, the staff are nice and the food is good.

Health inspector needs to check this place out, bagels and bacon were all over there back counter, and four teenage girls were just talking back there not even bothering to clean up. Looked fairly gnarly

My mom and I are backpacking in the atea and were so excited to walk to a bagel place from the motel. Buuuut we are def not doing back.
We weren't even acknowledged walking in. We ordered a BLT and a bagel w cream cheese. Both were black burnt. BLT was drowning in yellow mustard. When my mom brought it up to the counter he very snarkily replied "well, that's how we make it here." We saw him smile a total of 0 times, said hi to 0 people, and rolled his eyes as he slammed our burnt order in the trash. He had some fun slamming some cabinets too The menu says B.L.T. period. Maybe ask customers if they want some weird yellow mustard mayo combo drowning their sandwich and you wouldn't have to get so much attitude fixing it.
A female came out and said hi but didn't address any customers or orders, just left it all up to him.
I've worked in customer service and hospitality for nearly 25 years. Even on my worst days, I still treated people as I would want/be expected to be treated. If customers dont think you love your job, you're not doing it well, or your management sucks, or maybe a combo.
I am not the type to complain or send food back, but when you disrespect my mother, that's unacceptable. If we didn't walk there after miles and miles through snow, I would have left the second we walked in and felt like an uninvited guest.
And the bagels are hard as a brick.

Been a Local since 1990 and was privy to their inception on the West side . Living near the S Bend location now and have never had a issue till after Covid . I know online orders and take out is what kept the restaurants afloat but to continue this practice has now shunned the walk in customer as the online orders take precedence leaving anyone who has walked in to wait till online orders are processed . I will not be going back .

Here is where I go to get my favorite breakfast sandwiches. I love to order them from the app and they have it ready almost always when I arrive. There have only been a few times that I had to wait a little bit. My favorite is the eye opener with bacon on a sesame bagel.

February 6th, 7:30-8:15am waited 45 minutes for them to not even take my order with two people in front of me. Both people left. They couldn't tend to customers in the restaurant, but were actively making online orders instead. The worker would only take one order at a time. In between each order he would go stand in the back. The sad thing is I stopped going to this location for the specific reason last year. To see that nothing has changed shows a tremendous amount of poor management and poor ownership.

The three girls working at Southside today Absolutely killed it! Poor things were so slammed when I came in yet handled everybody with a smile on their face. They really need more help though, I felt bad for these three young ladies.

Overpriced for a very mediocre bagel. Last I heard they don’t even boil the bagels, which I believe is why they end up with a texture that is not very good. Big o Bagels certainly doesn’t deserve the hype, if it was a good New York/ New Jersey style bagel it would be worth it.

Have had mostly good experiences here. Was a little bummed last time to pay for extras and up charges and then not have the orders made correctly. We paid for quite a few things we weren’t given and attempted communication to rectify was never answered. Won’t stop us from going again but we’ll definitely check take out orders for accuracy before leaving.
