The food was fine. I believe they cook there food in a weird tasting organic grease that leaves a underlying taste in there items. As the biscuits that had no gravy on them tasted perfect but the gravy HAD that underlying taste. SO DID the eggs and hash browns. Overall I won’t return but don’t get me wrong some people will love it here. While I was there I heard a few other people conversations when I was waiting for a table and I heard that those people were repeating customers.

Super delicious breakfast option in Bend! The food is from scratch, the service is excellent, and you’re guaranteed to find something you like on the menu. I had the green chiles biscuit and it was so tasty. Highly recommend getting there early on weekends.

We enjoyed a breakfast and a lunch at Birdies. It’s a local favorite. The apparent owner was working the floor both times and the staff was great. Fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy hash browns, mild sausage patty CJ or breakfast. I had an awesome mushroom Swiss burger for lunch. A giant beef patty, great mushrooms and Swiss, sweet raw onion and tomato. Yumm!! We shall return any time we are in the area.

We went here today for the first time. I have to say this is an exceptional breakfast spot. The service is super friendly. You just don't get this level of service any more. The meal was good and they have cocktails also. The hash browns were super crispy and the eggs fresh. Highly recommended!

Amazing spot!!! Excellent service by our waitress Sarah (so nice!) and some really fun menu items!!!! My husband and I had the huevos rancheros with their pulled pork and the New Mexico benny. Both were so delicious!!!! We will definitely be back when we are in town. This place is a must try!!!!!!

Best, most eclectic breakfast menu in town. Worth the short wait for a table. Decent drinks too, including "Huber's style" (AKA the real deal) Spanish Coffees. If you're ready for a day buzz as well as a caffeine jolt and you have never had a Spanish coffee before, this is a great place to try one.
Great menu. Food was delicious. Service was attentive and pleasant. Definitely will go back. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating.

Soooo as a vegan, I feel like I can’t find a good brunch spot in bend esp on a weekday or anything that opens later in the day but I get the tofu hash and a veggie Bloody Mary ( the regular one has meat on it, almost got that one on accident) and it really hits the spot every time! They also have good vegan sides if you’re super hungover and super hungry feeling (my situation). Also I love the Hunter Thompson quote when you first walk in.

LOVE Birdies Cafe! Not only do they have incredibly delicious food, they have amazing customer service! Their staff is very welcoming, and truly on top of things. I haven't seen this kind of service and efficiency anywhere in Bend (and we've eaten at a lot of restaurants, including very high end ones), since things started opening up from COVID. Very refreshing!

Best pet friendly brunch in Bend. Every dog is offered a slice of bacon (complimentary) and their own water bowl :) Super friendly owners and servers. My dog is always so excited to go out to brunch at Birdies because she knows she'll get a slice of crispy bacon and lots of attention too. Always a delicious brunch! - Highly recommend
