Love this place, but it's very hard to work here. The music is always very loud and the place needs some sound dampening. Never very busy during prime work hours because of this.
The GOAT latte was SO GOOD! Sweet but delicious!
They announce that it’s “not espresso” and you should believe them. Not good coffee in my opinion. I should have read the reviews more closely.
5-Star Review:
This coffee shop is an absolute gem! Their coffee is perfectly brewed, rich, and smooth, easily the best I’ve had in ages. The menu is full of creative, one-of-a-kind drinks that you won’t find anywhere else—each one is a delightful experience. On top of that, the service is phenomenal. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They make you feel welcome and valued from the moment you walk in. If you’re looking for exceptional coffee, unique beverages, and outstanding service, this place is a must-visit!
Great coffee, espresso concentrate, and service!
False advertising that they serve espresso. Do not come here if you think they actually serve espresso. The owners claim in a similar review that they use “espresso concentrate” that they brew throughout the day for their espresso. Espresso is a specific method of brewing coffee where hot water is forced under very high pressure through very fine ground coffee. This is via a Manual, Semi-Automatic, Automatic, or Super automatic ESPRESSO MACHINES. There are also stove top and other portable espresso machines that can brew espresso.
It’s such a weird thing to mislead about. People search for places that serve espresso to get ESPRESSO. I got burned coming here excited to try a new espresso place in town. Just change your damn menu to accurately call your coffee drinks “brewed coffee” or “immersion brewed” It’s not espresso. I like the atmosphere and location of this shop and will delete this review as soon as they stop gaslighting people about what espresso really means. I have talked to several other locals that have been burned by this false advertising.

My favorite coffee spot on the west side! The girls always hook it up and the coffee tastes delicious. Laid back vibes with the switch to beer whenever you are ready. A staple on Galveston.

Come here all the time for their black coffee. Either drip or cold brew depending on the weather, but either way it actually has flavor. Quick service when I’m in a rush, and a great place to sit and chat when I’m not. Continues to be my favorite coffee shop to bring friends from out of town, great vibes!

I just watched the “barista” make my “latte” using steamed milk and something from a coffee pot on the counter so either they made it with brew coffee ( most likely as it is super weak) or they pre poured shots into the coffee pot earlier also not ok. Not sure how anyone thinks that’s ok. Will never be back as we have lots of great coffee shops in town.

Absolutely amazing coffee - We had the GOAT and Lavendar Latte. 10/10.
Oddly, I also had one of the better breakfast burritos I’ve ever had! My partner devoured the egg bites as well, so I cannot attest to their deliciousness, but the amount of time it took her to finish them is indicative of their quality.

Chill spot to eat and grab a morning drink. the young adult employees there don't have the greatest customer service skills, but regardless I can see myself going back with friends to hang out in the sun. Suggestion, The counter space where the touchpad register should be was not, so that was confusing for a second while I stood there waiting. The guy had it on the other end forcing the flow of customers to bunch around one another. Maybe reconfigure that.
Parking: It's downtown, so if there are no parking spots at the location, there are plenty of spots on the surrounding streets.
Kid-friendliness: Cool spot for families.

Disappointed in our visit today. We loved the aesthetic of this coffee shop and thought it had good potential but everything about it fell short. The one person working seemed either grumpy, unknowledgeable or tired.. they’d been open for 40 minutes before we stopped in. The coffee tasted burnt (both the regular brewed coffee and also the slush coffee). The pastries looked ok so we gave the banana bread a try but it was dry and not great.
