Pretzel was good...
Practically a hidden gem that feels Old Bend like in that there's never a wait time and the bartenders and atmosphere are both very casual. Great food!
First time here, but they’ve fixed some of the issues mentioned in previous reviews. Menu is clearly labeled what is vegan and what is vegetarian. They had several salad and sandwich options. We got the bbq tempeh sandwich and hoisin tofu bahn mi, both came with kettle chips or vegan coleslaw. They were good for a quick bite to eat.
I’ve been coming here for years. Their food is great! I enjoy all of their vegetarian options and huge beer selection. The service is always on point and they play the best music all the time! I’m super happy to keep them in my rotation💗
service and food were excellent
Our large group of 10 last night had such a wonderful time here. We were celebrating the birthday of a friend that had passed, and the entire staff was so accommodating to us. We are so grateful for their patience and flexibility, I know it was a lot. I wish I had caught our server's name (she's from Missouri!), she was outstanding! As for the food, absolutely incredible. There is a large vegetarian and vegan menu which accommodated many of our dietary restrictions. I didn't look at what meat options there were but the meat eaters in our party seemed pleased. 10/10 will be back.
Friends and I have loved BTBS, but our last experience there was very disappointing. Two friends’ food was very bland even with added salsa, and my spaghetti squash lasagna was non-existent. It didn’t fill the boat that it was served in and it was only about 1/4” tall. I left incredibly hungry. Even though we spoke to the manager, he didn’t care or do anything because he’s on his way out anyway. It was hugely disappointing, and these regulars will think twice about going back.
fun place. to kinda do your own thing!
I’ve been planning to go to Broken Top Bottle Shop for a while since I heard they have great wings. My wife and I ordered the pretzel and a dozen wings (half buffalo and half tahini and garlic). The wings were amazing and the pretzel was pretty good with the mustard and pesto sauces that it came with. Luckily, my wife discovered pretty quickly that the pretzel was way better with the tahini and garlic sauce that came with the wings. I will definitely be back, and I will order the pretzel with the tahini and garlic sauce on the side from now on.

This place has always been a MUST stop when we are in Bend. It is literally one of my favorite places. The food is delicious. The tempeh is amazing. The portobello Philly is my favorite. The cooler is full of great local crafted drinks. One of the best places in Bend.

We ate here multiple times on a weekend trip because it was a great experience. The staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. The food is delicious and has generous portions. They easily accommodated food allergies and had gluten free options. To top it off the atmosphere was clean, cozy and dog friendly. Highly recommend stopping in!
