There are too many options in Bend for this place to get away with two-star status.I’m aware of the struggle to find good help, and it appeared that there was only one server working the entire floor. She was friendly enough and because of that I will give her three stars. The only music I could hear was coming from the kitchen. The food was “meh” at best.Dining room/bar area was a bit too bright. Had a “Cheers” feel. Not real intimate or anything. Not sure I would return.

Local joint with great food, great beer, great staff and vegan options. My wife says these are rhe best wings in town and hand down the best blue cheese this side of the Mississippi. Probaly becuae they make it from SCRATCh!!! Waaat. Yeah. Its the real deal. The soups are alway amazing. The specials never disappoint. The beer taps are always on point with something diff. Like in in the PNW finding a st Bernadus abt 12 and a Russian river at the same time. Mmm hm. Yeah. Rock that.Cocktails are great, selection is minimal but meets the needs for non beer drinkers. The space. Always space for a big group.Been 5 years of eating and drinking here.Soups…. YES. They are rocking.!!! Chili soups specials. Rotate like the taps. Thanks you to the staff.Thank you Ange for making us feel like family.Vegetarian options: Yes. Amazing options.
BTBS is one of the only places we go due to allergies. The food is delicious and allergy friendly and always prepared carefully. The staff are laid back and friendly.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options plus tofu or tempeh choice for proteins on lots of menu items.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of gluten and dairy free options.

Been a long time customer at BTBS. Love the beer selections, food is good often great. Service is also good. It's a fun spot to wind down with friends and enjoy an ever changing tap list.
Wow! Great food and service. We had the pretzel with pesto cheese, mushroom Philly, and the spaghetti squash lasagna. Everything was delicious and our servers recommended some great drink choices!

I am so bummed to write this but wow what happened to this place? I really hope this is a cook/waitress problem and not an ownership problem but judging by what the waitress said I'm not so sure.I used to LOVE coming here. The last time we visited was like 8 months ago and the portion sizes were (pretty) fair for the price and the service was excellent! Now the prices are insane for the quantity. I ordered the sushi salad with tofu which was $21. It's always been a high priced item but was a delicious spurlge every now and then that was hard to pass up because the plate was always full with ingredients and bursting with flavor but now it hardly had anything but lettuce on it. I asked the waitress because I was so surprised that there was hardly anything on a $21 salad especially rice that seems like something they could at least fill the plate with, I mean rice is cheap. This had less than a half cup of rice. She said they downsized their portions. That's an understatement!! The whole salad was such a rip off for $21. I mean $21 for a salad is insane but usually it's packed and filled with deliciousness so I never felt bad about it. Today I physically regret eating the food. Oh, and on top of that the waitress didn't care to mention that the dressing was "out" because the cook didn't tell her "until after I put the order in." So, tell your customer!! I also can't believe this place is charging $17 for a Cauliflower Schwarma! I always give 20% tip but I actually sat there and contemplated not even giving a tip for the first time in my life. The combo of bad service, and insane prices for such small quantities was just so wrong, so wrong. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. What a disappointing experience. Super sad day.

i picked this place for the many gluten free options, both drink and food wise. the bartender was super kind and showed me the gf beers in the bottle shop and helped me pick the rice and quinoa bowl. i don’t know what black magic y’all have going on in the kitchen, but i’m bewitched and broken top bottle shop will forever be my bend go to spot for drinks and food!!!Dietary restrictions: many gluten free options

After so many days of fish and chips and chicken fingers we were hoping to find something different and this is the reason we came to this palce and we were not disappointed. the ribs were a bit over done and didnt fall of the bone as expected but still they were very tasty , the wedge salad was fresh lettuce with tomatoes and a good portion of blue cheese dressing and the Salmon with quinoa and beans was very tasty. A nice and reasonably prices cabernet made the evening a very pleasant one

Great food, dog friendly outdoor seating. Server Amanda was attentive and pleasant. Tucked in a small mall off College way.Dietary restrictions: gF option on many items.
