I had the chicken 🐔 taco salad. It was good, but too expensive. I feel you get enough chicken, but the breast was un seasoned. I feel it could have been so much better. Service was very good and I would go back. I'll try something else though. 😊
Great menu selection. I ended up with the fish sandwich. I was a little hesitant to order but waitress said it was her fav and it def did not disappoint. I did add the ceaser salad and it was even better than the sandwich.
Server was great! It was a hot summer day, and we had our dachshund’s. Food was great and so was the atmosphere. We can always depend on Brother Jon’s!
After reading such positive reviews, we were looking forward to a great meal at a reasonable price. Ugh, so disappointed...she ordered the Steak Frites, fries were cold, steak was so tough, and cooked with no seasoning. I ordered the French onion soup...it presented perfect, but zero flavor. Do these cooks ever taste there food? I also ordered the spicy mack and cheese. Came out cold, and the pasta was...well I don't know what type it was. Our server was great. I let her know about a couple of things that needed improvement. She was very understanding and didn't charge for the mac and cheese. I don't usually let the server know of issues, but everything we had ordered, was not good. I noticed three other orders being sent back to the kitchen as well. Two things need to be fixed. 1) They need a food expedite for the servers. 2) Then cooks need to taste what they are serving.
Amazing food and great service. Outdoor seating was poor.
Super slow we where waiting for our good for a hour
Walked in Friday April 25th at about 6pm. Found 2 chairs at the bar open. I asked for 2 menus, the bar tender said I have to wait. The bar back was a young gal putting glasses away right in front of me. I asked her for a menu. She acted as though she never heard or saw me. Like I was invisible to the eye. Then that same too-busy bar tender, came over and read me the riot act saying, I need to wait for him and him only. I've been to many bars in my life for food & drink. First I should have walked out and left after that non sense. Secondly, If that happens again, I will NOT leave a tip. If I were the owner of that restaurant, I would fire that bar-back and make it clear to the bar tender that paying customers are to be treated well........ I won't go bake to brother johns! The food was only average. The service sucked!!!!!!!!
Went in for dinner Sunday evening. We thought this was an alehouse/dining restaurant but it felt like a party bar. The staff had the music turned up so loud we could barely converse. Food was good but the pop music turned up to 10 ruined the experience.
Great vibe with a decent smash burger
Great food! The reuben was the best we've had in a few years, thanks to the house corned beef. The club with a great side salad was enough for two meals!

AMAZING food, great staff and a great atmosphere. 5/5 recommend!
Charming local brewpub and more. Very wide choice of beers, many local ones, and some rare beers, like Belgian Triple Carmelitt. The food was great and very low priced if compared with Seattle, where I drove from. Staff was friendly and polite. Recommended.
A+++ all home made. So nice to get quality food at a great price. Few and far between these days.
Had a club sandwich here a couple weeks ago. It was one of the best I’ve ever eaten, and the portion was huge. This place is not into the shrinkflation game, I had to take half my sandwich home. I can’t wait to try their other sandwiches, perhaps the Rubin is next.
Great little bar in downtown Bend. Friendly, prompt service and the food itself was delicious.
