Waited 17 minutes to order with 4 orders in front of me. Zero sense of urgency. Oregon roll was not good, threw it out.

Coffee is just “okay”

Very overpriced for what you get. It was alright at best. Also expect very long lines/ wait time. The employees are all super friendly.

Café Des Chutes is my favorite cafe in town! Housemade delicious pastries and craft coffee… what more could you ask for? Plus the staff are very kind and hard working. Highly recommend the carrot cake scone, vegan breakfast sando, and the vegan/GF buckwheat lemon blueberry muffin. I can’t wait to go back!

Everything was just standard, nothing stood out. Service was polite, but slow to get through the counter. You get buzzer so if you have a kid and with your spouse, they have to go in and get the drinks, the door isn't easily finagled with two drinks in tow. (He should of brought one out at a time instead of dumping my drink everwhere). The outside eating area is nice and has a covered area too. The selection is pretty slim, bur the offerings are good. Not into sandwiches much so I just had banana bread, which was good. Both groups behind me in line made comments about this place being more expensive than the Bay area, I didnt find it too bad. I got a pice of banana bread, 12oz pistachio latte and a 16oz Americano for about 15ish after tip... seemed standard to me. The coffee was delicious and high quality.

Every so often a morning calls for a little extra .... a leisure morning with a decadent coffee drink and a swoonable pastry delight. Great service and vibes here. It is a go to for meeting a friend or flying solo.

Food was good but coffee was burnt and there were many grounds at the bottom of my drink. Barista wasn’t the nicest.

The girl ringing us in was nice but the barista making drinks was extremely rude and tried to argue with me on my order. I wanted the pistachio gardamom flavors in an iced americano and she gave me a latte. Please train your baristas to not argue with customers and know the difference between an americano and a latte. Maybe instead of being rude she can ask questions to better communicate and understand a customer order. Sincerely a manager at a coffee stand for the past five years.

I hope you enjoy standing outside in direct sun for 30 minutes. This place was nearly empty inside when we arrived, however a line was formed and signage indicated that the only place to wait was on the sidewalk. Once inside, the service was quite slow and though they had a buzzer system, they only took one order at a time, making the next patron wait until pastries were handed out before greeting them.

The wait between ordering and getting food was short, however nothing about either was particularly fantastic. Something needs to change for us to return.

The fig and Brie sandwich was too sweet and drowned the cheese flavor. They followed my daughter’s drink order correctly though. The chicken focaccia sandwich had good flavor, but the general experience wasn’t good.

Little hard to find parking for us. But once you sit down behind the restaurant it’s very quaint and lovely. We sat outside and chai was delicious and Bundt cake was good for the kiddos.

We stopped in for a cold brew and pastry before we hit the road around 9:30 on a weekday. There were only like 5 people in line so we were optimistic about timing.

It took HALF AN HOUR just to get to the front and order. Ridiculous. Maybe someone in front of us ordered, like, twenty scones or something, but I suspect it is always like this considering the amount of infrastructure set up to contain the line. The croissant was delicious. Not worth it. Go to Sparrow.
