2 of 3 meals were bad. The poke bowl was so spicy it was inedible. The chicken yakisoba was salty, dry, and tough.
I rarely send a meal back but the poke tuna had evidently been marinated with spices and couldn’t be toned down.
It made for an awkward evening. When I asked, management comped our meals…which was nice…but it really marred the occasion

Chomp Chomp is a restaurant that shows promise, with friendly and attentive staff. The cuisine is tasty and delightful, with a unique presentation. The menu is small, but the food and drinks are great. They offer tasty Japanese fusion cuisine in a casual atmosphere with a wonderfully creative drink menu. The fried chicken is awesome for GF people. They also have Spiced Old Fashions, Ahi Tuna Bowl, and Chomp Fu, which are absolutely delicious. The One Night in Bangkok drink is a spicy drink that can be adjusted to your palate. There are seating options upstairs, street side, at the bar, tall table, or booth. The servers are great and friendly, and the location is wonderful. Despite some disappointments, the restaurant has potential and is worth giving another chance.
