We sat down on a Friday night and the overall experience was fine but food wasnt very good.
Our starters were great, we got the steak bites, cheese dip and brussel sprouts. The issues were the entrees as I got the chicken ramen and the chicken was extremely salty. Not just the breading/skin but the meat itself was way too salty. Further we got one of the dishes with the pancake bottom and it was under cooked to the point that it was very gooey, not sure if it's meant like this but I've had other Asian style pancakes and it was a much different texture/appearance.

Ordered to go & really enjoyed the spicy miso garlic ramen!
We went during happy hour and had reservations. It took a bit for the server to help us at first but the bar tender made sure to get us help. Once she came to our table she was very attentive. We like the happy hour lite portion menu. We ordered an appetizer and one meal and it filled us. Great value. My only complaint was the heavy cigarette smoke we smelled while eating. We sat close to kitchen. I would recommend and we will come back.
Our table was next to a door labeled employees only. Whenever someone would come out of that door there was also a waft of cigarette smoke. Very unpleasant!
If you enjoy truly tasty Japanese fusion cuisine in a casual atmosphere with a wonderfully creative drink menu this is for you. If you find ketchup spicy, the thought of using black pepper risqué and have a pallet inclined to favor biscuits and gravy then you may not be happy here. We love the Ahi Tina Bowl, Chomp Fu- absolutely delicious- highly recommend the One Night in Bangkok drink ( Spicy drink that can adjusted to your pallet per the menu). With seating upstairs, street side, at the bar, tall table or booth there is something for everyone. Great, friendly servers, wonderful downtown location and have not ordered something here we haven't loved. Eat here you won't regret it- unless of course you think ketchup is too spicy ?
The place was clean, the service was fine, and the food was meh.
The chicken karaage was super salty, and I hated the sauce they drizzled on the rice. It was too sweet for my liking, so it didn't help that when I uncovered the rice, it was soaked down. The ramen didn't have a good flavor, and the chashu was not tender.
Would never recommend it to anyone I know.
Just had a great meal! A group of 6 of us were seated immediately. The server was very friendly. Every single dish you could tell was made with love and great flavor. I loved all the gluten free options. All the garnishes and dishes were thoughtfully made and everything seemed extremely fresh.

2 of 3 meals were bad. The poke bowl was so spicy it was inedible. The chicken yakisoba was salty, dry, and tough. I rarely send a meal back but the poke tuna had evidently been marinated with spices and couldn’t be toned down. It made for an awkward evening. When I asked, management comped our meals…which was nice…but it really marred the occasion

The ahi in the poke bowl was so spicy, it was inedible. It wasn't listed as a spicy dish, so that was surprising. The ahi had been marinated, so there was no way to improve the meal. The chicken in the yakisoba special was incredibly salty, ruining the dish. The manager comped all 3 of our meals, which was nice but we left very disappointed in our dining experience.
We waited for over an hour without being served any food. After we complained, a waitress (possibly the manager) offered to waive the cost of the appetizer we ordered. By the time our food finally arrived, it had been about 1.5 hours, and they had missed one of our entrees. To make matters worse, the waitress who served our table didn't apologize initially. She later offered to waive the missed dish as well, but the way it was presented felt dismissive, as if saying, I've waived the dish, what else do you want? We didn't want free appetizers; we wanted decent service. They definitely deserved zero tip for such poor service! Yet, to our surprise, they still added a 22% tip automatically just because we were a group of six. Unacceptable.

Worst dining experience that I have ever had. We waited for over an hour for the appetizers. The waitress came for several times and told us the dishes will come in “relatively” quick (what does this even mean?). Eventually the food came but missed one dish. Instead of apologizing for the miss, the waitress only noted down and went straight to kitchen. The waitresses eventually told us (with a condescending attitude) that the appetizers and the missing dish will be waived from the bill. All the food, by the way, is also below average (especially the third Raman on the menu is way too sweet). We understand the restaurant is short staffed tonight but the attitude of the waitress is unacceptable. We also don’t understand how 22% of tips were automatically applied given our experience. ?↔️

Delicious drinks! One Night in Bangkok with spicy vodka was a favorite.
Edamame was tasty and served in a huge portion. A bit of extra sesame oil drenched the lower layer. Crispy Brussel Sprouts were served in an equally large portion and they were seasoned lightly, a nice change from some over powering basalmic glazes we've experienced frequently.
The sticky short ribs were tender and delicious, though there was about twice as much teriyaki glaze as we needed on the plate.
Great ambiance. Great drinks. Great service. Decent food.
Many gluten free options available.

Had one of the best meals of my life here. Really attentive service. Very friendly. Sat outside with my partner and enjoyed the warm weather. We had okonomiyaki (first time ever) and it was just phenomenal. Obvious extra care and attention had been paid to both the chicken and tofu protein add-ons. Every bite was incredibly flavorful.
My partner got two drinks and both were AMAZING. Just a really incredible experience that I can't recommend enough. There are some talented tastemakers here.
